Infroneer will raise ~147.2 billion yen via public offering with ~20% dilution, pressuring shares.
Infroneer Holdings announced on the 2nd that it will raise approximately 147.2 billion yen through a public offering and other means. Of the funds raised, 117 billion yen will be used to repay short-term borrowings taken out for the acquisition of Sumitomo Mitsui Construction, with the remainder secured as funds for mergers and acquisitions. In connection with the public offering, the company will issue 47,826,100 shares in Japan and overseas, and sell up to an additional 7,173,900 shares depending on demand. The dilution rate is approximately 20%. Infroneer shares ended trading on the 2nd at 2,695.5 yen, down 2.12% from the previous day.
