Advanced Micro Devices IncAMD agreed to acquire World Labs for $8.2 billion, bringing Fei-Fei Li in as chief scientist.

A leaked Anthropic IPO prospectus reported by Reuters shows the AI company lost $41.97 billion last year as it prepares for a potential public listing at a valuation of roughly $2 trillion. The leak, which Yahoo Finance's Brian Sozzi said he had never seen for a company of this importance, is viewed as a possible trial balloon for the offering. The Financial Times also reviewed the prospectus and reported that its risk factors section warns Anthropic's technology poses an existential risk to humanity. Separately, AMD agreed to acquire World Labs for $8.2 billion, bringing AI pioneer Fei-Fei Li in as chief scientist reporting to CEO Lisa Su. Dan Ives of Yorkville Ives said Anthropic sits at the center of the AI revolution trade and that its going public would be bullish for the broader tech sector, though he acknowledged the unprecedented nature of the risk disclosure.
