Salesforce Authorizes $50 Billion Buyback, Executes Half in Weeks
Salesforce authorized a $50 billion share repurchase program in February 2026 and executed half of it within weeks through the largest accelerated share repurchase in corporate history. The buyback equals roughly a quarter of the company's market value, which sits under $200 billion, and comes as Salesforce generated $17.73 billion of levered free cash flow over the past twelve months on revenue of $43.94 billion, with an operating margin of 21.38% and a net margin of 21.99%. Revenue grew 10.80% in the most recent quarter while earnings grew 86.90%, yet the stock closed at $234.69 on October 2, down 4.51% over twelve months against a roughly 14% gain for the S&P 500, and trades at 13.99 times next year's estimates versus about 19 times for the index. The company carries $42.38 billion of debt against $11.4 billion of cash, and its share count has already fallen from 997 million to 895.5 million. The article questions whether redirecting capital to buybacks signals the end of Salesforce's acquisition-driven growth era, particularly as generative AI raises doubts about future seat-based demand.

Salesforce Expands AI Bundles as Agentforce ARR Tops $1.5 Billion
Salesforce is expanding its AI bundles, introducing Core, Advanced and Max editions for Agentforce Sales, Service and Industries that combine AI, Slack, Tableau Next, security and support into a single purchase. In the second quarter of fiscal 2027, bookings from Agentforce One Edition and Agentforce for Apps more than doubled sequentially, and premium Slack upgrades tripled since Slackbot launched. Agentforce ARR topped $1.5 billion in the quarter, up more than 240% year over year, while combined Agentforce and Data 360 ARR reached nearly $3.9 billion, rising more than 210%, and customers generated 3.2 billion Agentic Work Units, up 97% sequentially. Even so, AI growth has yet to materially change the company's overall growth rate: second-quarter revenues rose 11% year over year to $11.35 billion, and management expects fiscal 2027 revenue growth of 11%-12%. Rivals are pursuing the same playbook, with Microsoft 365 Copilot surpassing 30 million paid seats in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2026 and Oracle's Cloud Applications revenues reaching $4.1 billion, up 10% year over year, as total cloud revenues jumped 47% to $9.9 billion.

Oppenheimer Reiterates Salesforce Outperform, $275 Target After Customer Survey
Oppenheimer reiterated its Outperform rating and $275 price target on Salesforce on Tuesday after a customer survey showed strong trends. Analyst Brian Schwartz wrote that current survey trends support the near-term growth outlook but offer little evidence of a demand inflection, noting that IT budgets appear healthy and 85% of surveyed customers have tested or deployed Agentforce, yet nearly half remain in the pilot or testing stage, leaving the pace of production adoption and monetization uncertain. Schwartz said the Dreamforce survey suggests customers retain budget capacity to add products and expand deployments despite concerns that AI investments pulled forward spending in 1H26, with net spending sentiment broadly consistent with prior Dreamforce surveys and spending priorities skewed toward efficiency initiatives. The survey also showed strong interest in Agentforce, though production scale and adoption are lagging, and found that data gravity has become a critical battleground for AI spending, with 40% of data going through a third-party lakehouse provider as opposed to Data 360. Schwartz added that the risks from AI are workflow disintermediation, not a replacement for Salesforce.

Meta Expands Muse AI to Small Businesses With New Business App Integrations
Meta Platforms introduced Muse for Small Business on Tuesday, expanding its Muse AI agent with new capabilities and connections to business apps. Instead of asking Muse to complete individual tasks, small businesses can give it broader goals, such as helping manage their operations, and the agent can then use its available tools and integrations to work toward those goals. The move expands Meta's ambitions well beyond consumer AI, building on its efforts to turn Muse into a broader enterprise platform with tools aimed at developers and larger companies. Adding small businesses brings Meta closer to software markets already served by companies such as Salesforce, Intuit and Shopify. For investors, the next test is whether businesses actually adopt Muse for everyday work, giving Meta another path to turn its heavy AI spending into products companies are willing to use.

Microsoft Launches Reimagined Copilot, Guides for 16-17% Q1 Fiscal 2027 Revenue Growth
Microsoft launched a reimagined Copilot in September 2026 built around Home, Code and Autopilot, alongside a hybrid pricing model that keeps per-user pricing for everyday AI while moving advanced capabilities to consumption-based Copilot Credits. The company reported that Microsoft 365 Copilot paid seats topped 30 million in fourth-quarter fiscal 2026, with net seat additions more than doubling sequentially, while Agent 365 registered nearly 40 million agents within two months of launch and Foundry revenues more than doubled year over year. Commercial remaining performance obligation surged 84% year over year to $678 billion. For first-quarter fiscal 2027, Microsoft expects revenues of $89.85-$90.95 billion, implying 16-17% growth, with Microsoft 365 Commercial cloud revenues projected to grow about 16% in constant currency, Azure expected to grow roughly 45%, and Intelligent Cloud revenues forecast at $40.95-$41.25 billion, up 33-34%. Cost of revenues is expected to rise 23-24% in the fiscal first quarter, keeping operating margins roughly flat year over year, while capital expenditures are projected to exceed $50 billion, and for fiscal 2027 Microsoft expects operating margins to decline by less than one point as capex keeps rising. Microsoft faces competition from Salesforce, whose Agentforce annual recurring revenue topped $1.5 billion in second-quarter fiscal 2027, up more than 240% year over year, and from Alphabet, whose Gemini Enterprise is now used by nearly 90% of Fortune 100 companies and whose Google Cloud backlog reached $514 billion in the second quarter of 2026.

Anthropic IPO Prospectus Leaked to Reuters, Revealing $42B Loss
Anthropic's IPO filing prospectus was leaked to Reuters on Monday, revealing that the private AI developer lost $41.97 billion last year despite its rapid growth. The leak itself drew sharp criticism, with Yahoo Finance Executive Editor Brian Sozzi noting he has never seen a prospectus leak to a media organization in more than two decades of covering markets, calling it a blow to confidence in the company's internal controls as it potentially pursues one of the world's largest IPOs. The Financial Times also reportedly obtained the prospectus, which contains an unusually large risk factor section that warns of an existential risk to humanity posed by Anthropic's own technology. Sozzi flagged Salesforce and Mark Benioff as a surprising potential winner, noting Benioff invested $50 million in Anthropic in 2023 and participated in subsequent rounds at a valuation of about $5 billion, meaning a $2 trillion valuation could leave him sitting on roughly $10 billion in unrealized gains.
Anthropic IPO Prospectus Leak Reveals $41.97 Billion Loss and Existential Risk Warning
A leaked Anthropic IPO prospectus reported by Reuters shows the AI company lost $41.97 billion last year, according to Yahoo Finance Executive Editor Brian Sozzi. The filing, which Anthropic has not commented on, also reportedly warns in its risk factors section that its technology poses an existential risk to humanity, a disclosure Sozzi called unprecedented for a company potentially heading toward a $2 trillion valuation. Yorkville Ives senior managing director Dan Ives said the leak may serve as a trial balloon and that Anthropic going public would be bullish for the broader tech trade by adding transparency, though he acknowledged the safety-versus-growth tug of war. Separately, AMD agreed to acquire World Labs for $8.2 billion, bringing AI pioneer Fei-Fei Lee in as chief scientist reporting to CEO Lisa Su, and AMD crossed the $1 trillion market cap mark for the first time. Sozzi also noted that health tracker Oura pulled its IPO indefinitely, and that Salesforce's Marc Benioff, an early Anthropic investor, could see roughly $10 billion in unrealized gains from his stake if the $2 trillion valuation holds.

Meta's New Enterprise AI Unit Faces Trust Test, Analyst Says
Meta has launched a new enterprise unit selling AI products to businesses, a push WestEnd Capital Management senior equity analyst Ali Mogharabi said is aimed at diversifying revenue beyond consumer advertising. Mogharabi told Market Domination host Josh Lipton that Meta is pitching a full stack that includes the Muse agent for routine employee tasks, a Meta business agent for functions handled by CRM platforms such as Salesforce.com, and a Muse API for building AI agents. He said the strategy could also help Meta monetize the huge capital expenditures it has made in AI data centers, effectively earning a return on that investment. Mogharabi cautioned that Meta has failed at enterprise software before, and said the key to success will be gaining the trust of enterprises against reputable rivals such as Microsoft and CRM providers. He added that it is difficult to identify specific metrics to gauge traction because Meta has little track record in the B2B business.

Zenity Labs Discloses SalesBleed Flaws in Salesforce Agentforce
Zenity Labs today disclosed SalesBleed, a set of three security vulnerabilities in Salesforce Agentforce that could allow a single untrusted lead to hijack trusted Agentforce agents, silently exfiltrate sensitive CRM data and turn an enterprise agent into a vehicle for phishing attacks. Two of the three vulnerabilities enable zero-click data exfiltration, transmitting sensitive Salesforce data to attacker-controlled infrastructure without any employee click or approval, while the third lets attackers weaponize the trusted identity of an Agentforce-connected Slack agent to distribute phishing messages from inside the enterprise. The research found multiple weaknesses in Trusted URLs, the Salesforce mechanism meant to stop Agentforce from displaying URLs and images from untrusted sources, plus a separate flaw in the Agentforce-Slack integration. Zenity Labs disclosed the findings to Salesforce on June 1, 2026, and Salesforce addressed the specific Trusted URLs bypasses within approximately two weeks and also remediated the Slack attribution issue. Michael Bargury, co-founder and CTO of Zenity, said hard boundaries remain one of the strongest tools for containing AI agents, but they are still software, and when those controls fail, what remains is a privileged access agent with high autonomy and no bounds.

Wells Fargo Raises Salesforce Price Target to $250 on Agentforce Momentum
Wells Fargo analyst Michael Turrin reiterated an Equal Weight rating on Salesforce on September 18 while raising the price target to $250 from $230, citing growing evidence that the company is moving from positioning AI as a long-term opportunity toward demonstrating measurable monetization. The call followed Salesforce's second-quarter results, in which Agentforce annual recurring revenue exceeded $1.5 billion, up more than 240% year-over-year, though the company expanded its definition of Agentforce ARR beginning in Q2 FY27 to include its AI offerings, Slackbot, and Headless 360, complicating the comparison. Salesforce said 7 billion Agentic Work Units had been delivered across Agentforce and Slack, including 3.2 billion in the second quarter alone, and it is targeting $63 billion in revenue in fiscal 2030, including Informatica. The company is also strengthening Agentforce through integrations with Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud and working with AI companies including Anthropic. Risks remain, including the gap between AI pilots and full-scale deployment, competition from AI model developers and emerging agent platforms, and potential seat reductions as agents automate work; hedge fund holders of Salesforce fell to 99 in the second quarter from 101 in the first, while short interest stood at 3.55% of shares as of August 31.
Adobe Expands AI Customer Experience Push With Multi-Year Jet2 Partnership
Adobe is expanding its agentic artificial intelligence and customer-experience technologies through a multi-year strategic partnership with travel company Jet2. Jet2 plans to use Adobe CX Enterprise to deliver personalized holiday recommendations, offers and engagement across the travel journey, and will also use Adobe Firefly Foundry and Brand Intelligence to accelerate branded content creation, with the partnership including a Jet2 x Adobe Customer Experience Lab focused on developing and scaling AI-powered experiences. Jet2 was among Adobe's global enterprise customer wins in the third quarter of fiscal 2026, and Adobe CX Enterprise Coworker had attracted more than 1,700 customers and early adopters by that same quarter. In the third quarter of fiscal 2026, ending annual recurring revenues for Adobe Experience Manager and agentic web applications, Adobe GenStudio and Adobe Experience Platform and applications each increased more than 20% year over year, while Adobe's AI-first ending ARR exceeded $650 million and grew more than 150% year over year. Adobe faces intensifying competition from Microsoft, whose Dynamics 365 exposed more than 650,000 Model Context Protocol actions in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2026, and from Salesforce, whose Agentforce ARR exceeded $1.5 billion in the second quarter of fiscal 2027. Adobe shares have declined 31.9% year to date against the broader Zacks Computer and Technology sector's 22.8% growth, and the Zacks Consensus Estimate for Adobe's earnings stands at $6.32 per share, suggesting 14.91% year-over-year growth.
Needham Keeps Street-High $400 Target on Salesforce Despite 12-Month Decline
Needham analyst Scott Berg is maintaining a Street-high $400 Buy target on Salesforce, implying roughly 71.5% upside from the stock's current $233.28, even as shares have fallen 5.76% over the past year and 11.32% year to date. The consensus 12-month target of $281.89 from 56 covering analysts implies 20.8% upside, and the bull case rests on Agentforce, whose annual recurring revenue crossed $1.5 billion, up over 240% year over year, with combined Agentforce plus Data 360 ARR near $3.9 billion. Salesforce reported Q2 FY27 revenue of $11.35 billion, up 10.8% year over year, and raised FY27 guidance to $46.1 billion to $46.4 billion, though $2.61 billion of its $5.90 non-GAAP EPS came from strategic investment gains rather than operations. The company carries a $94 million restructuring charge, a $25 billion accelerated share repurchase, and pending Informatica, Contentful and Fin integrations, while the FY27 EPS estimate has drawn 45 upward revisions and zero downward revisions in the past 30 days. The pain is sector-wide: Oracle trades at $149.20, down 52.46% over the past year, with a consensus target of $237.97 implying 59.5% upside, while ServiceNow near $137 is down 26.16% with a $144.99 consensus target implying 5.8% upside, and HubSpot at $217.88 is off 57.54% with a $250.37 consensus target implying 14.9% upside.

Benioff Unveils AIforce at Dreamforce, Revives "New Clippy" Jab at Microsoft
Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff used Dreamforce 2026 in San Francisco to launch AIforce, the company's biggest product launch in years, and again branded Microsoft's Copilot "the new Clippy." Salesforce is positioning AIforce as an open, provider-agnostic layer that works across multiple AI systems, including Anthropic's Claude through an integration called Claudeforce that the company says guarantees zero data retention by the model provider, as well as ChatGPT and Slack. The announcement came alongside a reiterated fiscal 2030 revenue target of $63 billion. Benioff framed AIforce as the answer to what he calls the "Fantasyland" problem, arguing rivals such as Copilot lack the dependable, controlled business-data layer needed to run enterprise operations, extending a public feud that dates to Dreamforce 2024. Stifel raised its price target on Salesforce to $300 from $275 while reaffirming a Buy rating, citing six revenue channels for monetizing the new AI stack, including additional core licenses, premium SKU upgrades, Agentforce spending, Data 360, Agent Fabric and Guardian, and APIs, MCPs and related infrastructure. Salesforce shares closed at $255.65 on September 15 after a nearly 34% rally over the previous month, following a rough start to 2026 in which the stock fell as much as 37%, and the most recent quarterly results showed $11.35 billion in revenue, beating Wall Street projections on both the top and bottom lines.

Snap Brings Specs AR Glasses to Enterprise With Salesforce, Nvidia, AWS
Snap Inc. is pushing its $2,195 Specs augmented-reality glasses into the enterprise market through partnerships with Salesforce, Nvidia, and Amazon Web Services. Salesforce's Agentforce will bring AI agents to the glasses, Nvidia technology will support visual recognition, and AWS will provide voice-assistant capabilities, while Snap also introduced Specs Intelligence, its own AI service for the device. Specs are expected to begin shipping in the U.S., UK, and France this fall, with a $2,395 package that includes a cellular-enabled charging case. CEO Evan Spiegel said in June that Snap had already invested more than $3.5 billion in Specs, even as activist investor Irenic Capital pushed the company to divest the business or seek outside financing, and Snap previously reorganized Specs into a standalone subsidiary. The enterprise push comes as Snap reported second-quarter 2026 revenue rose 19% to $1.60 billion, with free cash flow of $121 million versus $24 million a year earlier and $2.7 billion in cash, cash equivalents, and marketable securities at the end of June. Snap faces formidable competition, as Meta's newest smart glasses start at $299 and Meta accounted for roughly 76.1% of global smart-glasses sales last year, while Apple and Google are also developing competing devices, according to Reuters.

Atlassian Cloud Revenue Jumps 31% as Fiscal 2027 ARR Growth Set to Slow
Atlassian's cloud business drove fourth-quarter fiscal 2026 results, with cloud revenues rising 31% year over year to $1.2 billion, outpacing total revenue growth of 28% to $1.8 billion. Management attributed the cloud performance to strong cross-sell and seat expansion, with data center-to-cloud migrations in line with expectations, while adoption of Teamwork Collection and Service Collection also climbed and agentic automation in Service Collection increased more than threefold as customers expanded usage beyond IT teams into HR, legal, finance and marketing. The company said customers are increasingly consolidating collaboration tools onto its platform, with Teamwork customers holding four to five times more paid seats per instance than standalone Jira or Confluence customers. Atlassian expects subscription ARR growth of 18% in fiscal 2027, down from 23% in fiscal 2026, citing a more cautious view of macroeconomic, fiscal policy and geopolitical uncertainty, while the Zacks Consensus Estimate points to revenue growth of 13% in fiscal 2027 and 14.8% in fiscal 2028. Google Rethink ROI Summit Highlights Gap Between AI Discovery and Payment Readiness
Google's Rethink ROI summit in New York spotlighted a widening gap between rapid AI-driven shopping discovery and merchant payment systems that cannot yet complete agent-initiated transactions. The platform's new conversational attributes let retailers feed structured data, including FAQ, compatible accessories, and substitutes, directly into the Shopping Graph, and in early testing with Lululemon, brand-supplied attributes were incorporated into AI Mode recommendations 50% of the time. Demand for such tools is backed by Adobe Analytics data showing an 805% year-over-year increase in AI-driven traffic to retail sites during Black Friday 2025, while Salesforce Cyber Week data confirms retailers with integrated AI agents grew sales 32% faster than those without, and Adobe found those shoppers are 38% more likely to convert. That traffic, however, is colliding with a payment readiness deficit: the TLT LLP Retail Agility survey of the top 100 UK retailers found that while 49% are investing in agentic AI, only 15% say their payment systems are prepared for agent-initiated transactions. Google is attempting to standardize the transaction layer through the Universal Commerce Protocol and the Universal Cart framework, which aim to enable persistent, cross-platform shopping carts across Search, YouTube, and Gmail, and with a 10-week horizon to Black Friday 2026, the next two months will determine which brands move from discovery-focused AI to transaction-ready agentic commerce.
Salesforce-in-Claude Beta Opens on All Paid Plans With 37 Prebuilt Sales Skills
Salesforce has moved its Claudeforce partnership with Anthropic into an open beta on all paid plans, pushing enterprise CRM data into Claude's native interface. The release centers on a plugin that bridges Salesforce's data stores and Claude's reasoning engine, arriving with 37 prebuilt sales skills covering everything from meeting preparation to pipeline reviews. The beta is currently accessible via the Salesforce AppExchange and the Claude Enterprise Marketplace. Under the mutual adoption model, Salesforce has named Claude its preferred AI model while Anthropic has designated Salesforce its preferred CRM, with the plugin running on the AIforce harness and integrating with Headless 360, Data 360, Tableau, and Slack, where Claude now serves as the default model for Slack AI, Slackbot, and Slack Code. Salesforce reports its employees have realized 8.1 million hours of annualized productivity gains using Slackbot, a figure that has doubled quarter-over-quarter. Deployment requires a one-time connection, after which every seller gains access immediately, with no per-user configuration or new permissions model.

Benioff Warns AI Must Not Become 'Social Media 2.0' at Dreamforce
Salesforce co-founder and CEO Marc Benioff used his keynote at the annual Dreamforce software festival to warn that the AI industry must not repeat the failures of social media, saying "we cannot let AI be social media 2.0." Speaking to Yahoo Finance's Opening Bid from Dreamforce in San Francisco, Benioff said companies and executives must take absolute responsibility for the applications and technology they build, arguing there needs to be an ethical base in how the industry operates. He noted that Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman both attended Dreamforce and addressed their concerns, while figures including venture capitalist Bill Gurley and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg have weighed in on safeguarding people in an increasingly AI agent future. Benioff, who also owns Time Magazine, said businesses must be responsible for their actions and that "the only people who are going to prevent [bad things] from happening are the people who are building that code." Salesforce used the event to announce several AI products, including AIforce and a tie-up with Nvidia on a new model dubbed Koa, which Stifel analyst J. Parker Lane said underscores the open approach the company is taking on the model and UI layers as it leans on its data and context layers as its core moat in the Agentic Era.
Salesforce Targets Over $63 Billion Annual Revenue by Fiscal 2030
Salesforce is forecasting more than $63 billion in annual revenue by fiscal 2030, a long-term target that sits above Wall Street expectations. Chief Operating and Financial Officer Robin Washington outlined the goal at the company's annual conference Wednesday, covering the fiscal year ending January 2030 and exceeding the roughly $61.4 billion analyst consensus compiled by Bloomberg. The company is positioning its data, customer relationships and workflow software as infrastructure for enterprises deploying autonomous AI agents, highlighting Claudeforce, which connects Salesforce data with Anthropic's Claude, and Koa, an AI reasoning model built on Nvidia architecture now being tested by nearly 1,000 enterprise customers. Salesforce also says Slack is evolving into a primary control hub where companies can manage autonomous AI agents alongside employees. Separately, an early Anthropic investment generated a $2.6 billion gain last quarter, with Salesforce eventually planning to monetize those shares to help fund its $60 billion stock repurchase program.

Snap Adds Salesforce and NVIDIA Tools to $2,195 Specs AR Glasses
Snap disclosed that Salesforce is embedding its Agentforce agent platform into its Specs augmented reality glasses, with NVIDIA supplying the artificial intelligence that lets the device interpret what a worker is looking at and pull up relevant company data, and Amazon contributing its cloud unit's assistant for voice-command tasks. Snap also unveiled a Specs Intelligence service, with a separately sold charging case carrying cellular connectivity through carrier partners including Verizon Communications in the U.S. The device was unveiled in June at $2,195, and Snap did not disclose financial terms for any of the tie-ups, so the move prices a positioning change rather than booked business. Snap stock rose about 4% to $5.95 on the news, while Meta Platforms, the incumbent in consumer AR through Ray-Ban Meta and Reality Labs, held steady with shares up 0.4% to $675.88. Snap stock remains down 28% year to date, and Snap has said shipping begins later this fall in the U.S., the U.K., and France, with a Los Angeles shopping-mall try-on experience starting in October.
Salesforce launches Koa, its first reasoning AI model for CRM, built on NVIDIA Nemotron
Salesforce and NVIDIA announced the launch of Koa, Salesforce's first reasoning model for CRM, for use with Agentforce, built on NVIDIA Nemotron. It stems from a close technology collaboration between the two companies and is designed to help AI agents analyze complex multi-step workflows while selecting the right tools. Koa was developed by further training NVIDIA Nemotron 3 Super on synthetic datasets that Salesforce created from the enterprise business knowledge accumulated over nearly three decades of CRM usage. In testing with the Salesforce CRM Benchmark, which covers real-world tasks such as updating sales opportunities, case escalation, and scheduling follow-ups, Koa performed on par with or better than leading models for CRM operations while reducing errors threefold. Salesforce controls the model weights of Koa and carries out all additional training and inference within Salesforce's trust boundary. Koa is currently in use inside Salesforce, including in AI agents in Slack, and is being tested with customers including 1-800Accountant, Baxter Credit Union, Engine, Formula 1, UChicago Medicine, and Xero. At the same time, Salesforce and NVIDIA are also applying models developed on Nemotron and accelerated computing technology to Missionforce, so that government agencies and regulated businesses can control the models, data, and deployment environment at the same level, bringing purpose-built AI to private clouds, air-gapped networks, and highly secure environments.

Salesforce's public-sector business has become its fastest-growing industry business at scale, with defense revenue expanding 80% year over year, one year after the company launched Missionforce, its government-focused platform combining AI, data, applications and cloud infrastructure. Salesforce said Missionforce now supports operations across more than 30 countries, 60 U.S. federal agencies, all 15 Cabinet departments, all 50 states and all six branches of the U.S. military. One of the biggest opportunities is a 10-year U.S. Army contract carrying a $5.6 billion ceiling to expand Missionforce National Security across the Army and Department of War, while the Army Human Resources Command is using the platform to provide AI-powered services to 9.2 million soldiers, veterans, civilian employees and military families. The U.S. Air Force has deployed Missionforce to modernize operations supporting a vehicle fleet valued at $13.5 billion, and the Transportation Security Administration is using an AI agent called Ace to handle roughly 100,000 traveler conversations each month, resolving 96% of routine inquiries without human escalation and cutting consumer-interaction costs by more than 90%. June AI announced it is now part of the Salesforce AgentExchange ecosystem, Salesforce's trusted partner marketplace for partner-built AI interfaces, agents, apps, skills, integrations and services. The AI implementation and deployment company said its agents understand a customer's Salesforce environment, translate requirements into implementation plans, and assist with configuration, testing and deployment, helping customers move faster from planning to production while preserving existing data models, permissions and governance. Tyler Carlson, SVP, Head of Product, AgentExchange & Ecosystem at Salesforce, said the company's Headless Toolkit, which provides MCP and API access to Salesforce data, workflows, business logic, actions, identity, permissions and governance, lets builders connect those experiences to Salesforce context. June AI co-founder and CEO Efrat Rappoport said realizing AI's potential requires each use case to be implemented inside the systems a company actually runs. June was founded by the team behind Bonobo AI, which Salesforce acquired in 2019, and its founders spent five years in product and engineering leadership roles at Salesforce, contributing to the development of Agentforce.

Salesforce Unveils AIforce at Dreamforce as Shares Slip 1.4%
Salesforce pushed deeper into the AI stack at Dreamforce by creating a bridge between its business data and outside AI models, a move that sent shares down approximately 1.4% to $252.10 Wednesday. The offering, AIforce, connects Salesforce data, applications and autonomous agents with platforms including Slack and Anthropic's Claude, while the company also introduced Koa, a model built with Nvidia's Nemotron technology and Salesforce's massive store of CRM data. Salesforce is leaning harder into consumption-based pricing, meaning revenue growth increasingly depends on how much customers actually use these AI tools rather than how many software seats they purchase. Agentforce annual recurring revenue has already topped $1.5 billion, equivalent to roughly 3.2% of the midpoint of Salesforce's $46.25 billion fiscal-year revenue guidance, and adding Data 360 lifts that comparison to about 8.4%. At $252.10, the stock sits 26.52% below the $343.08 GF Value estimate, a gap that will depend on Salesforce proving easier AI distribution can translate into durable consumption growth without sacrificing its projected 20.1% GAAP operating margin.
