STARLUX Airlines and American Airlines today launched a codeshare partnership, with tickets now available for flights connecting STARLUX's transpacific service with American Airlines' flights to 20 major U.S. destinations. The partnership lets travelers book a single itinerary combining American Airlines' eligible connecting flights with STARLUX's service to Taipei and onward to destinations across Asia. The initial codeshare covers 20 cities out of the more than 250 destinations American Airlines serves across North America, with more destinations expected to be added as the partnership expands. The codeshare builds on the airlines' interline agreement established in 2025, and the two carriers are also preparing a reciprocal frequent-flyer partnership allowing members of both airlines to earn and redeem miles on eligible codeshare flights. STARLUX Airlines CEO Glenn Chai called the codeshare an important milestone for the airline, while American's Senior Vice President of Alliances, Anmol Bhargava, said the collaboration strengthens American's global network and unlocks new competitive itineraries.
