Ainos Signs Veldona License Framework With BioPhoenix Worth Up to $10M

Ainos has entered a collaboration agreement with BioPhoenix Co. potentially worth $10 million for its low-dose oral interferon alpha platform Veldona. Under the agreement, BioPhoenix receives an exclusive worldwide license to VELDONA for two initial indications, Sjögren's disease and thrombocytopenia, covering research, development, manufacturing, marketing authorization activities, and commercialization within the agreed scope. The framework comprises an initial license fee, conditional consideration for licenses covering 15 additional indications, and a one-time fee upon the first sublicense. BioPhoenix will assume primary funding and execution responsibilities for the clinical and regulatory development activities allocated to it for the two initial licensed indications, while Ainos retains core platform ownership and long-term commercial interests. Development expenditures funded by BioPhoenix, potential product supply revenue, and downstream revenue sharing are separate from and not included in the $10 million collaboration framework, and Ainos is contractually entitled to a 25% share of applicable net sublicensing revenue.

Ainos Shares Rise 6.9% on Initial AI Nose Semiconductor Orders

Ainos Inc. shares rose 6.9% in pre-market trading on Monday after the company said it received initial commercial orders for its AI Nose platform from a front-end semiconductor manufacturer. The orders follow technical validation activities involving approximately 200 AI Nose systems deployed at wafer fabrication facilities since March, and Ainos said they represent a move from validation to commercial deployment in semiconductor manufacturing environments. Financial terms and the identity of the customer were not disclosed. The company said the initial commercial orders are expected to provide revenue opportunities beginning in the second half of 2026, and it is deploying the technology in both front-end wafer fabrication and back-end semiconductor packaging and testing operations. Separately, Ainos said its proprietary real-world chemical dataset has exceeded one billion records, compared with approximately 878 million reported in August.
