Lennox International Inc. designs, manufactures, and markets products for the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration markets in the United States, Canada, and internationally. Its Home Comfort Solutions segment offers furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, packaged heating and cooling systems, indoor air quality equipment, comfort control products, and replacement parts and supplies under brands including Lennox, Armstrong Air, Ducane, AirEase, and others. The Building Climate Solutions segment provides unitary heating and air conditioning equipment, controls, installation and service of commercial heating and cooling equipment, variable refrigerant flow commercial systems, and refrigeration products under brands such as Lennox, Model L, CORE, and Heatcraft Worldwide Refrigeration. The company sells through direct sales, distributors, and company-owned parts and supplies stores, and was founded in 1895 with headquarters in Richardson, Texas.

U.S. air-conditioner shipments jump 21.7% in June

U.S. shipments of central air conditioners and air-source heat pumps surged 21.7% in June to a combined 1.02 million units, according to the Air-Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute.
