OceanFirst Financial Corp. is the bank holding company for OceanFirst Bank N.A., providing community banking services to retail and commercial customers in the United States. It accepts deposit products such as money market accounts, savings accounts, interest-bearing and non-interest-bearing checking accounts, and time deposits, including brokered deposits. The company also offers commercial real estate, multi-family, land, construction, and commercial and industrial loans; fixed-rate and adjustable-rate mortgage loans secured by one-to-four family residences; and consumer loans including home equity loans and lines of credit, student loans, loans on savings accounts, overdraft lines of credit, and other consumer loans. In addition, it invests in mortgage-backed securities, U.S. government and agency securities, corporate securities, and other investments, and provides bankcard services, trust and asset management products and services, deposit account services, sales of loans and investments, bank owned life insurance, and commercial loan swap income. Founded in 1902, the company is headquartered in Toms River, New Jersey.

OceanFirst Financial Posts Second Quarter Net Loss After Flushing Acquisition

OceanFirst Financial Corp. reported a net loss of $3.0 million, or $0.04 per diluted share, for the second quarter of 2026, compared to net income of $16.2 million a year earlier, as the company absorbed $42.8 million in merger-related expenses from its June 1 acquisition of Flushing Financial Corporation.
