United Internet CFO Carsten Theurer to Step Down, Andre Driesen Named Successor

United Internet AG Chief Financial Officer Carsten Theurer will leave the company when his contract expires on December 31, 2026, at his own request, with Andre Driesen set to succeed him as CFO effective November 1, 2026. The Supervisory Board and Chief Executive Officer Ralph Dommermuth said they regret the decision, and Supervisory Board Chairman Philipp von Bismarck thanked Theurer for his role in developing the Group's finance organization and for his work on corporate governance, capital market communications, and Group-wide shared service structures and systems. Theurer said he looks forward to applying his experience in new entrepreneurial contexts while remaining connected to the Group as a member of the Supervisory Board of IONOS Group SE. Driesen brings many years of experience in finance, corporate management, and M&A, having served as CFO of Drillisch AG and subsequently of 1&1 Drillisch AG, where he supported major strategic transactions and the merger of Drillisch and 1&1 through the end of 2019, and more recently working as an independent consultant and holding supervisory positions. United Internet said the appointment continues the organizational development of the Group and the focusing of its holding company functions.

United Internet H1 2026 EPS Jumps 60%, Confirms Full-Year Guidance

United Internet AG reported a 60% surge in earnings per share to EUR0.775 for the first half of 2026 and confirmed its full-year guidance. Group revenue rose 3.3% year-over-year, while EBITDA grew 5.1% to EUR676.77 million and EBIT increased 20%, aided by the phase-out of PPA depreciation from the Drillisch acquisition.
