Dentsu Soken Inc. provides information technology solutions through four segments: Financial Solutions, Business Solutions, Manufacturing Solutions, and Communication IT. The Financial Solutions segment offers IT solutions for financial operations at financial institutions and other companies. The Business Solutions segment provides human capital management and accounting management solutions. The Manufacturing Solutions segment develops performance evaluation methods for air mobility and researches product lifecycle management solutions. The Communication IT segment provides software services. Formerly known as Information Services International-Dentsu, Ltd., the company changed its name to Dentsu Soken Inc. in January 2024. Incorporated in 1975 and headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, it operates as a subsidiary of Dentsu Group Inc.

Itochu to Take Dentsu Soken Private via Tender Offer

Itochu announced on the 28th that it will conduct a tender offer for Dentsu Soken, a major system development company, at 2,880 yen per share through a subsidiary. Dentsu Soken plans to agree to the proposal, and Itochu will acquire 38.2% of shares, excluding those held by Dentsu Group, to take the company private. Hong Kong fund Oasis holds 5% stake in Dentsu Soken

A large shareholding report filed on the 17th revealed that Hong Kong investment fund Oasis Management holds a 5% stake in Dentsu Soken. The reporting obligation arose on the 7th.
