Silicon Studio and monoAI surge, Tsuburaya Fields rebounds on target price hike
In the morning session of the Tokyo stock market on August 5, game and entertainment-related stocks were mostly bought, with 54 of the 99 registered issues rising. Silicon Studio and monoAI surged, while Tsuburaya Fields Holdings rebounded on reports that Tokai Tokyo Securities raised its target price from 2,130 yen to 3,070 yen. Meanwhile, Takara Tomy posted a 19.9 percent year-on-year increase in first-quarter operating profit to 5.512 billion yen, a double-digit gain, but fell the most on a sell-on-fact reaction. For Konami Group, Okasan Securities reportedly maintained its bullish rating and raised its target price from 30,000 yen to 31,000 yen.
