Alamo Group Secures $602.5 Million Credit Agreement Amid U.S. Tariff Cut on Agricultural Equipment

Alamo Group has entered into a new US$602.5 million credit agreement, bolstering its funding flexibility as the U.S. government reduces tariffs on agricultural equipment from 25% to 15%, easing import cost pressures. The tariff cut could modestly improve the company's cost structure and competitiveness in agricultural markets, though it does not materially alter the near-term outlook where softer customer demand and contracting earnings per share remain key risks. Alamo Group's investment narrative projects $1.9 billion in revenue and $191.8 million in earnings by 2029, requiring 4.7% annual revenue growth and a roughly $90.6 million increase in earnings from the current $101.2 million. Two community fair value estimates for the stock range between US$183.19 and US$209.80, implying a potential 30% upside from the current price.
