Helios Technologies Declares US$0.12 Dividend, Added to Zacks Rank #1 Strong Buy List

Helios Technologies declared a quarterly cash dividend of US$0.12 per common share, payable on October 26, 2026 to stockholders of record on October 13, 2026, with about 33.0 million shares outstanding. Alongside the dividend, the company was added to the Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy) List after its current year earnings consensus rose 10% over the last 60 days, and options activity showed elevated implied volatility. The narrative projects US$1.0 billion in revenue and US$118.7 million in earnings by 2029, requiring 4.8% yearly revenue growth and a US$47.3 million earnings increase from US$71.4 million today, yielding a US$94.67 fair value and 37% upside to the current price. More cautious analysts see revenue of about US$1.0 billion and earnings of roughly US$112.1 million by 2029. The key catalyst remains execution on electrification and IoT offerings, while the main risk is that slower adoption or prolonged end market softness could hold back margins and growth.

Helios Technologies Expands No Roads Platform with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto

Helios Technologies announced on September 1 that its Electronics segment has expanded the No Roads platform with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, bringing smartphone integration to boats, ATVs, and off-road vehicles. This move follows a second quarter where the Electronics segment's gross margin expanded by more than 500 basis points, and the company raised its full-year 2026 sales outlook to $880 million to $900 million, up from a prior range of $840 million to $870 million. Electronics sales climbed 19% in the second quarter to $85.5 million, with gross margin up 530 basis points to 34.6%, and operating income up 90% to $11.2 million. However, CFO Jeremy Evans flagged tougher year-over-year comparisons in the second half, along with geopolitical uncertainty, tariff dynamics, and inflationary pressures as headwinds. Helios Technologies Posts Record Q2 Results, Guides Slower Growth

Helios Technologies reported record second-quarter results with sales of $232 million and adjusted earnings per share of $0.88, both at the high end of guidance. The company posted its fourth straight quarter of double-digit pro forma growth in sales and adjusted earnings, with gross margin expanding 280 basis points to 34.6% and operating income up 48% to $33 million. Helios Shares Surge 25.5% but Analysts Warn of Underperformance Risks

Helios shares have climbed 25.5% over the past six months to $80.44, outperforming the S&P 500 by 16.8 percentage points, yet analysts caution that the stock may underperform due to weak organic growth, shrinking margins, and declining returns on invested capital. Organic revenue growth averaged just 3.3% annually over the last two years, signaling sluggish demand in its core business. Operating margin contracted by 8.4 percentage points over five years to 9% on a trailing 12-month basis, raising concerns about expense management despite revenue gains. Return on invested capital has also trended lower, suggesting limited profitable reinvestment opportunities. At a forward price-to-earnings ratio of 27.1 times, the stock appears to price in significant optimism, leading analysts to recommend looking elsewhere for better fundamentals.
HLIO · Demand · Negative Weak organic growth of 3.3% annually signals sluggish demand in core business.
HLIO · Capital · Negative Shrinking margins and declining ROIC, with high valuation, lead analysts to warn of underperformance.
