JMART shifts growth mode, stops opening new branches, targets group profit of 2 billion baht by 2028

Jaymart Group Holdings, or JMART, has announced a major operational restructuring, moving away from growth driven by rising costs and instead maximising the use of its existing resources. CEO Adisak Sukhumvitaya told the Stock Vision news team that the company aims for Jaymart Mobile, its core mobile phone and accessories distribution business, to post a profit of no less than 300 million baht this year, before rising to 500 million baht in 2027, an average growth rate of about 30% per year. The key strategy is to refrain from opening additional branches in order to cut rental burdens and fixed costs, while shifting to a partner model with dealers and small retail store networks. Meanwhile, upcountry branches with low operating costs will be repositioned as distribution and logistics centres. The lending business will focus on extending credit to stores as working capital within the B2B system. The company estimates the mobile phone and operator market to be worth approximately 200 billion baht, based on trading volume of about 17 million units per year, and it is preparing to launch mobile phones equipped with AI technology under its own developed brand. Additional support comes from the recovery of affiliated companies SINGER, SGC and JMT, as well as the J real estate business, which is awaiting full recognition of rental income over the next one to two years. The medium-term goal is to push group profit back to 2 billion baht by 2028.

Yuanta rates SINGER a Buy with 13.70 baht target as 2026 profit set to surge 516%

Yuanta Securities said, after speaking with SINGER's management, that the company's product sales are accelerating well and are expected to meet its third-quarter 2026 target of 25% QoQ growth, supported by an expanding dealer base and a continuously rising number of sales staff. Meanwhile, loan disbursements for SGC's Lock Phone product are performing better than expected, rising about 20% quarter-to-date in July and August, with customer demand still increasing in September, giving SGC a strong chance of exceeding its own target of 14 billion baht in new loan disbursements this year. As for the sale of the vehicle registration pledge loan portfolio, the transfer of the portfolio will begin in the fourth quarter of 2026 and is initially not expected to have a significant negative impact; it is a move to accelerate the restructuring of the portfolio toward a higher proportion of higher-yielding Lock Phone loans. On regulatory risk from the Bank of Thailand's tightening of non-bank controls, the company assesses the impact as limited, since it already conducts business in line with Market Conduct principles and charges loan interest of no more than 25%, in line with its personal loan licence. Given the positive view on SINGER group's strong third-quarter 2026 operating outlook, Yuanta raised its forecasts for interest income and profit from product sales for 2026/27, lifting its net profit forecasts for SINGER for 2026/27 by 6.8% and 4.9% respectively. Under the new forecasts, net profit in the second half of 2026 is expected to grow strongly YoY and continue rising HoH, driven by higher profit from electrical appliance sales and accelerating interest income from lending, while expenses remain at a low level. This supports full-year 2026 net profit for SINGER of 647 million baht, a standout 516% YoY increase, followed by a further 21.5% YoY rise in 2027. Yuanta views the share price decline as merely concern over higher bond yields during a period when crude oil prices have surged amid rising unrest in the Middle East, while SINGER's operating performance can still grow well through expanding its customer base in the provinces, both in electrical appliance sales and in higher Lock Phone lending by SGC. The company also has no plans to issue additional debentures this year and will receive proceeds from the sale of the vehicle registration pledge portfolio in the fourth quarter of 2026, so it does not need to rush into new debenture issuance while bond yields are rising. It therefore sees the share price correction as an accumulation opportunity and maintains its Buy recommendation with a new 2027 fundamental value of 13.70 baht, implying 29.3% upside.
SINGER.BK · Capital · Positive Yuanta rates SINGER a Buy with a 13.70 baht target and raises 2026/27 net profit forecasts by 6.8%/4.9% on the strong Q3 2026 outlook.
SGC.BK · Demand · Positive SGC's Lock Phone loan disbursements are beating expectations, up ~20% QTD in July-August with demand still rising in September, likely exceeding the 14bn baht target.

Yuanta says SINGER's Q3/69 profit looks bright as electrical appliance sales grow over 20%

Shares of Singer Thailand, or SINGER, rose 3.77%, or 0.40 baht, to 11.00 baht at 10:42 a.m., with trading value of 29.46 million baht, from an opening price of 11.10 baht, reaching a high of 11.10 baht and a low of 10.90 baht. Yuanta Securities (Thailand) said SINGER's third-quarter 2569 profit outlook is outstanding, driven by electrical appliance sales accelerating more than 20% compared with the previous quarter, or QoQ, and by continued expansion of Locked Phone loans at SG Capital, or SGC. This development is a positive surprise for the market, since electrical appliance sales normally slow QoQ in the third quarter of 2569 due to seasonal effects. The growth that occurred therefore ran counter to market expectations.
SINGER.BK · Demand · Positive Electrical appliance sales accelerating more than 20% QoQ drove an outstanding Q3 profit outlook, a positive surprise versus normal seasonal slowdown.
SGC.BK · Demand · Positive Continued expansion of Locked Phone loans at SG Capital (SGC) is cited as a driver of SINGER's strong Q3 profit outlook.

JMART moves ahead to list three subsidiaries on the Stock Exchange

Adisak Sukumvitaya, Chief Executive Officer of Jaymart Group Holdings Public Company Limited, or JMART, presented the company's business overview at the Opportunity Day event organized by the Stock Exchange of Thailand on August 17, 2026. He said the group is ready to move toward a new phase of growth by focusing on using technology to drive the mobile phone business in which the company has more than 30 years of expertise, especially the locked-phone business segment, which is expected to be a key supporting factor. The smartphone market is about 17 million units per year, and consumers are shifting toward higher-priced smartphones. The company is therefore joining forces with leading brands through the platforms of SG Capital Public Company Limited, or SGC, and KBJ Capital Company Limited, which have been able to generate profits continuously. This growth is also supported by distribution networks such as Jaymart Mobile and Singer Thailand Public Company Limited, or SINGER, as well as support from JMT Network Services Public Company Limited, or JMT, in using databases to screen customer quality more accurately. As for JMT's debt management business direction, it is expected to continue growing well in the second half of the year. Although new debt purchases may not be as high in volume as in the past, the company believes that non-performing loans in the system will continue to flow out steadily. For future growth plans, JMART aims to list three subsidiaries on the Stock Exchange of Thailand: Suki Tee Noi, KBJ, and J Ventures, which is the company that oversees the group's technology operations. All three companies are currently ready and are in the process of considering the appropriate timing for fundraising. Regarding the financial stability of the JMART group, it is currently very strong, with an interest-bearing debt to equity ratio of only 0.61 times. The company has already prepared funding sources to support the repayment of debentures maturing this October totaling 1.612 billion baht, from cash on hand, liquid assets, a plan to issue new debentures to replace the existing ones, and dividends from subsidiaries. The company is therefore confident that there will be no problem in repaying the debentures. Meanwhile, on the progress of BNN Restaurant Group Company Limited, the operator of Suki Tee Noi restaurants, the company currently has five restaurant brands under its umbrella: Suki Tee Noi, Suki Tee Noi Plus, Tee Noi Go, Tee Noi Barbecue, and Nai Pan Moo Krata. As of the end of July, there were 134 branches in total covering 42 provinces, with plans to open branches in 17 more provinces within this year, which will bring total coverage to 59 provinces before expanding to all 77 provinces nationwide next year. For the operating performance of the Suki Tee Noi restaurant business, in the second quarter total sales were 2.915 billion baht, growing 13 percent compared with the previous quarter, driven by continuous new branch openings averaging four to five branches per month. Net profit was 165 million baht, down slightly from the previous quarter due to selling expenses and promotional activities during new branch openings, as well as higher set-up costs for new branches, even though the company was able to manage raw material costs better overall.
