The company produces video, animation, and game software for theaters, television, videos, distribution, and games; plans, licenses, supervises, and produces products featuring characters from popular works; operates stores; and engages in manuscript magazine illustration submission and lecture activities. It also sells secondary-use rights for works in Japan and overseas, and publishes and sells comic magazines, periodicals, comic books, illustration collections, related books, and e-books. Founded in 1987, IG Port is headquartered in Musashino, Japan.

Nippon Ichi Software rebounds on news that Hono Kurashi no Niwa has surpassed 100,000 units sold

Papires and Four Other Companies Announce Share Buybacks

After the close on the 15th, five companies — Papires, IG Port, Sheila HD, Last One Mile, and Papanets — announced share buybacks. Papires set a maximum of 1 million shares, representing 11.52% of outstanding shares excluding treasury stock, with a cap of 1.1 billion yen, and a purchase period from July 16 to September 30. IG Port set a maximum of 230,000 shares, or 1.14%, with a cap of 300 million yen, from July 16 to October 31. Sheila HD set a maximum of 300,000 shares, or 0.79%, with a cap of 100 million yen, from July 16 to October 30. Last One Mile set a maximum of 56,000 shares, or 2.05%, with a cap of 200 million yen, from July 16 to December 15. Papanets will buy back up to 400,000 shares, or 20.65%, with a cap of 1 billion yen, from July 17 to July 29.
