TOPPAN Holdings Inc. develops solutions based on its printing technologies in Japan, Asia, and internationally. It operates through three segments: Information & Communication, Lifestyle & Industry, and Electronics. The Information & Communication segment offers securities, bankbooks, cards, business forms, catalogs and other advertising and promotional printed materials, magazines, books, and outsourcing and other publication services. The Lifestyle & Industry segment provides soft packaging materials, paper containers and other packaging, plastic molded products, inks, transparent barrier films, decorative sheets, wallpaper, and other building materials. The Electronics segment offers LCD color filters, TFT LCDs, anti-reflection films, photomasks, and semiconductor package products. The company was formerly known as Toppan Inc. and changed its name to TOPPAN Holdings Inc. in October 2023. It was founded in 1900 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.

SBI XDC Network APAC, TOPPAN, and Ginco are advancing a proof-of-concept to streamline trade finance operations—from corporate verification to factoring and payment collection—on the blockchain for overseas transactions of used auto parts and used car exporters in Osaka Prefecture. This project has been adopted under Osaka Prefecture's fiscal 2026 "Osaka Prefecture Pioneering Financial Market Formation Support Subsidy," with SBI XDC Network APAC as the project lead, TOPPAN as a co-participant, and Ginco as a supporting partner. In the demonstration, they will build a business system that verifies the corporate information of exporters and importers using vLEI, and records trade transaction information and factoring transaction information on the blockchain "XDC Network." Furthermore, in the future, they aim to incorporate settlement via stablecoins and tokenization of accounts receivable.
