A single company today runs an average of 100+ online software tools (SaaS) — each one hoarding its data in its own box, refusing to talk to the others. This lesson is about the 'plug' called API and the 'switchboard' called iPaaS that wire all those apps together. It's the layer that used to be the most boring part of software, and suddenly became the most valuable — because AI agents need it to actually 'do' anything.

Sinch Fair Value Rises to SEK 44.83 as Analysts Split on RCS Expansion
Sinch's fair value estimate has been lifted to about SEK 44.83 from SEK 41.00, a roughly 9.3% increase, as analysts diverge sharply on the company's growth and execution outlook. Cantor Fitzgerald upgraded Sinch to Overweight from Neutral with a SEK 43 price target, while JPMorgan raised its target to SEK 66 from SEK 45 and kept an Overweight rating. On the bearish side, Pareto initiated coverage with a Sell rating and a SEK 35 target, and DNB Carnegie cut the stock to Hold from Buy with a SEK 55 target. The revised valuation also reflects revenue growth moving from about 4.32% to roughly 6.14%, profit margin from about 4.07% to roughly 5.07%, and a future P/E shifting from about 22.82x to roughly 19.32x. The analyst debate centers on Sinch's use of AI, machine learning and partnerships with platforms like Salesforce and Microsoft, the role of omnichannel messaging and RCS rollout in its revenue mix, and execution risks including slow organic net sales growth and competitive pressure in U.S. messaging.

askpolly Integrates With Microsoft Copilot Cowork to Link Social Insights and Sales Data
askpolly announced that its platform is now integrated with Microsoft Copilot Cowork, letting customers combine its social insights with their own sales data inside the Microsoft tools they already use. Through askpolly's API, users can merge askpolly's social data with their own sales data directly within Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Power BI, or Copilot, with nothing uploaded to the cloud. The company said companies spend $97 billion a year on market research that can take months to complete, while askpolly delivers statistically valid answers in as little as two minutes. Anyone with a current Copilot subscription can download and activate askpolly through Microsoft Marketplace, and askpolly is also Microsoft Azure IP co-sell eligible, allowing qualifying customers to purchase the platform against their existing Azure commitment. MoEngage Launches Real-Time Customer Engagement Platform for Shopify
MoEngage announced MoEngage for Shopify, a native integration that unifies a merchant's Shopify data across 16+ channels including email, SMS, app and web push, WhatsApp, and on-site personalization in real time. The agentic engagement platform is trusted by more than 1,350 brands including Loblaws, Poshmark, Nestlé, and Farfetch. MoEngage said it is the only agentic customer engagement platform built for Shopify that addresses the challenge of disconnected tools, synchronizing native Shopify events, profile attributes, subscription statuses, and product catalog updates from a single unified source of truth. Early adopter Stadium Goods, a sneaker and streetwear resale marketplace, moved its back-in-stock alerts from a static, API-updated field to real-time event triggers after connecting with MoEngage, and has since used synced purchase and catalog data to build sharper Google and Meta lookalike audiences, seeing the strongest lift on international campaigns. The solution unlocks native agentic AI functionality immediately upon setup, and is composable by design, letting merchants start with individual channels without migrating their entire stack and consolidate later.

HighLevel Connects to Meta's Muse AI Agent for Business Workflows
HighLevel announced on September 29, 2026 that its platform now connects to Muse, a new personal AI agent from Meta, letting businesses use Muse across the workflows, conversations, calendars and customer information they already manage in HighLevel. The connector marks the second collaboration between Meta and HighLevel in three months; in June, Meta selected HighLevel as an early scheduling partner for Embedded Appointment Booking for Facebook Lead Ads, allowing customers to book appointments using HighLevel calendars directly within the Facebook lead experience. Muse is designed to help users complete multi-step tasks, and through the connection businesses can use it to manage leads, coordinate and book meetings, update customer information and prepare for customer conversations. Shaun Clark, Co-Founder of HighLevel, said AI that can actually get something done for a business is a whole different ballgame, and that businesses should not have to rebuild their technology stack every time a more powerful AI product or agent arrives. HighLevel describes itself as the AI-powered operating system for businesses, agencies and founders, and said the connection advances its vision of remaining the central operating system for customer data, conversations and business workflows.
OneMeta Inc. announced it is building an integration of its VerbumCall real-time translation technology into the Amazon Connect contact center platform, with readiness targeted for Q1 2027. Development is underway and is supported by the company's participation in AWS for Startups, an engagement introduced through OneMeta's existing NVIDIA relationship. The integration is intended to extend VerbumCall's real-time, multilingual translation capability into one of the largest CCaaS platforms in the market, and the Q1 2027 target is a company development goal rather than a committed delivery date. As part of the AWS for Startups engagement, setup of the company's AWS infrastructure is underway with implementation partner Craftech. Dayanna Rojas, Head of Technology at OneMeta, said the company is building the Amazon Connect integration now and targeting Q1 2027 for readiness, adding that there are credit tiers it is qualifying for on the AWS side but that the focus is the integration itself. The press release was approved by Amazon for Startups.

CData Launches Connect AI Gateway for Governed Enterprise AI Agents
CData Software launched CData Connect AI Gateway, a new control point connecting AI agents and the people who work with them to enterprise systems, available through an early access program beginning September 29, 2026. The Gateway is built on CData's data layer, which already powers Palantir, Google, hundreds of enterprise products and thousands of customers worldwide, and it exposes hundreds of CData-built connectors as governed tools over live systems including SAP, NetSuite, Salesforce, warehouses, databases, and on-premises and legacy environments. It enforces permissions down to the record, validates changes against each system's own business rules before they commit, and routes every request to the most efficient model, with spend attributed and budgeted by team, agent, model and tool. In CData Labs research, prompts run through CData's connectors returned correct results 98.5 percent of the time across CRM, project management, data warehouse and ERP systems, against 65 to 75 percent for competing MCP approaches, and a second study of 22 models found the least expensive returned the same correct answer at 178 times lower cost than the most expensive. Adobe AI Software Lead Padmakar Pasala said CData Connect AI gave its agents live, governed access to applications like SAP, cutting test delivery from 10 weeks of manual effort to about one, a 10x acceleration. CEO and co-founder Amit Sharma said the Gateway answers questions of control from one control point, letting companies hand agents real responsibility and stand behind every answer and every action.

BRC Group to Acquire Sangoma Technologies in $204 Million Deal
BRC Group Holdings has agreed to acquire all issued and outstanding common shares of Sangoma Technologies Corporation in a transaction valuing Sangoma at an enterprise value of approximately $204 million, or C$289 million. Under the plan of arrangement, Sangoma shareholders will receive $4.925 in cash and 0.04767 of a BRC share for each Sangoma share held, totaling approximately $170 million in cash and approximately $10 million in BRC shares, with current Sangoma shareholders holding approximately 4% of BRC's pro forma outstanding shares. The deal is expected to be partially funded through an amended and restated $215 million senior secured term loan facility at BRC's communications-platform level, with Banc of California as sole lead arranger, bookrunner, and administrative agent, alongside Axos Bank and Israel Discount Bank of New York as lenders, and is not subject to any financing condition. On a combined trailing-twelve-month basis as of June 2026, BRC's communications businesses and Sangoma generated approximately $441 million in revenue, reflecting approximately $241 million from BRC's communications businesses and approximately $200 million from Sangoma, while BRC's communications businesses alone generated approximately $52 million of combined segment income. The transaction, unanimously approved by both boards, requires approval by at least two-thirds of votes cast by Sangoma shareholders plus a simple majority excluding shares required to be excluded under Multilateral Instrument 61-101, along with court and regulatory approvals, and is expected to close no later than early 2027, after which Sangoma shares will be delisted from the Toronto Stock Exchange and Nasdaq and Sangoma will be held within BRC Telecom alongside UOL, magicJack, Marconi Wireless, and Lingo.

Meta Launches Muse Agent-Commerce Layer With PayPal, Shopify and Stripe
Meta went live with an agent-commerce layer at Meta Connect 2026, expanding its Muse ecosystem so that the Muse Spark personal AI agent can shop and check out on behalf of users. Meta confirmed that PayPal global Muse payments will let customers shop and check out using their Muse personal AI agents across PayPal merchants worldwide, while Shopify and Stripe have integrated their Shop Pay and Link wallets to enable agent-native commerce infrastructure, with Muse able to search the Shopify catalog and execute checkout directly in-app. The connectors also include Expedia and Instacart, effectively turning the Muse agent into a digital wallet. The technical leap is the Muse computer-use capability, which runs in a Muse Secure VM, an isolated Linux virtual machine in the cloud, letting the agent interact with native macOS apps like Files, Mail and Calendar and drive a full browser. Meta also unveiled the Luna camera-free smart glasses with six microphones, open-ear speakers and a dedicated AI button, though Muse-on-glasses was only teased as coming soon and was not shipped at the keynote, with 2.5M US downloads as of September 20. Amazon has blocked Muse from its platform, a revealing exclusion that suggests the future of commerce may be a battle between open agent-accessible platforms and walled gardens, and the industry is building ahead of the GENIUS Act enforcement cliff looming on January 18, 2027.

Nokia Expands Microsoft Partnership to Link Data Suite With Fabric
Nokia Oyj expanded its partnership with Microsoft to transform telecom automation using unified, AI-driven data operations. The collaboration connects Nokia Data Suite directly with Microsoft Fabric to streamline network data access for global telecom operators. The combined platform is designed to shorten network data retrieval times and support multi-vendor AI use cases such as autonomous assurance and predictive maintenance. The €52.4 billion communications group runs mobile, fixed, and cloud network infrastructure across regions where operators are pushing into AI-driven automation. The clearest proof point to watch is how management attributes AI-driven software and automation bookings in upcoming quarterly updates through 2027, especially any quantified contribution from Microsoft Fabric-based deployments versus traditional network contracts.
Manus Seeks $500 Million Round as Asia's AI Agent Market Splinters
Manus is in advanced discussions for a $500 million funding round at a $4 billion valuation, according to Bloomberg, following Beijing's NDRC blocking of Meta's $2 billion acquisition of the firm in April 2026. Co-founders Xiao Hong and Ji Yichao were summoned and barred from leaving China, forcing the company to pivot from a potential US acquisition target into a cornerstone of the domestic Chinese AI ecosystem, though the round is not yet closed and terms remain subject to change. In Seoul, Enhans, which raised a $38 million Series C confirmed in a September 17, 2026 press release, is embedding its AgentOS into Korean manufacturing and finance, with the round co-led by TIMEFOLIO Asset Management and Stonebridge Ventures and strategic participation from POSCO Investment, LG CNS, and Lotte Ventures, whose chaebol groups already run the technology in live production. Huawei, meanwhile, launched its AI Cluster Service and agent-specific tools including Agentic MaaS and the AgentArts platform at HUAWEI CONNECT 2026, with Dr. Peter Zhou emphasizing that infrastructure must evolve to support secure, reliable agent workloads in production; the Agentic Infra paradigm already serves over 3,500 customers, and while AICS is available in China starting September 30, global availability is not slated until November 30. Together these moves signal that the agent market is splitting along regional lines of data structuring, compute hosting, and regulatory oversight, leaving open whether these silos will converge through open standards or harden into permanent, incompatible zones.
Salesforce launches AIforce at Dreamforce 2026 as Benioff takes aim at Microsoft Copilot
Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff unveiled AIforce, an AI connectivity layer that lets employees access Salesforce data and run complex workflows inside third-party AI tools such as Anthropic's Claude and Slack, at Dreamforce 2026, using the stage to directly criticize Microsoft. AIforce launched with three integrations: Claudeforce, built in partnership with Anthropic, brings Salesforce data directly into Claude; Slackforce connects that same data to conversations in Slack; and AgentforceCoworker operates inside Salesforce's own Lightning interface. Benioff framed AIforce as the answer to what he calls the "Fantasyland" problem, arguing that rival AI tools like Microsoft's Copilot lack the reliable business data layer required to safely power a business, extending a public rivalry that dates to Dreamforce 2024, when he compared Copilot to "Clippy." Salesforce generated $11.35 billion in revenue during its most recent quarter, beating Wall Street's expectations on both earnings and revenue, and CRM stock has rallied about 34% over the past month after falling as much as 37% earlier in 2026, closing at $255.65 on Sept. 15. On the same day as the Dreamforce announcement, Salesforce suffered a global service disruption that locked some customers out of their systems, and investors are watching Agentforce and Data 360 adoption numbers in the next quarterly report, where combined annual recurring revenue already exceeds $2.9 billion, more than 200% growth from a year ago.

Ninth Wave and AWS Study Finds Compass on Amazon Bedrock Cuts Bank Onboarding Integration Testing by 95%
Ninth Wave and Amazon Web Services announced the results of a joint study concluding that banks using Ninth Wave's Compass onboarding assistant built with Amazon Bedrock can reduce onboarding integration testing by 95%. The findings, detailed in a co-authored whitepaper, show that work which previously took weeks of senior-engineer time can now be completed in minutes. Since its March launch, Compass has replaced spreadsheet- and email-driven onboarding workflows with a centralized, AI-governed process that reduces back-and-forth between banks, aggregators, and fintech partners, with new self-service capabilities resolving integration questions without opening a support ticket. Compass runs as a multi-agent AI system in which a primary orchestrator directs seven specialist agents handling everything from field mapping to interactive Q&A, hosted at production scale on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore with security controls designed around SOC 2 and PCI DSS requirements. Ninth Wave founder and CEO George Anderson said the results demonstrate that AI will be the foundation of the next generation of Open Finance, while AWS Director of Strategic Sales Todd Pond said Ninth Wave went from concept to production on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore to deliver measurable results for financial institution clients.

K&R International Services Adopts Descartes to Automate EU Ecommerce Filings
Descartes Systems Group announced that Michigan-based K&R International Services is using its global security filing solution to automate European Union Import Control System 2 (ICS2) security filings for charter cargo carriers handling high volumes of ecommerce shipments. The solution standardizes shipment data and automates hundreds of thousands of regulatory submissions per month, enabling K&R to manage tight air cargo security processing windows and maintain responsive customer service as volumes grow. K&R President Kelly McFall noted that a single charter flight can include tens of thousands of individual parcels, making one-at-a-time filings infeasible. Descartes' solution, leveraging the Descartes Global Logistics Network, helps organizations standardize data capture, transmit filings electronically, and manage customs responses and exceptions. Scott Sangster, General Manager of Logistics Services Providers at Descartes, highlighted how automation and connectivity support compliant cargo movement into the EU and worldwide.

Bandwidth Could Be 27% Undervalued After Salesforce Deal and Outlook Lift
Bandwidth is back on investor radar after reporting robust revenue growth from its voice and messaging services, securing an exclusive infrastructure partnership with Salesforce, and lifting its full year outlook for revenue and adjusted EBITDA. The stock has surged 244.59% year to date and delivered a 226.67% one-year total shareholder return, though it has pulled back 5.50% over the past day and is down 24.58% over three months. According to the most followed valuation narrative, Bandwidth's fair value of $67.25 sits well above the last close at $49.00, implying the stock is 27.1% undervalued. However, a simple price-to-sales comparison shows Bandwidth trading at 1.9x sales, higher than the US Telecom industry's 1.4x and a peer average of 0.9x, with a fair ratio of 1.3x, suggesting less room for error if growth or margins fall short. The narrative could be knocked off course if adoption of its Maestro and AI tools slows, or if large enterprise customers cut or renegotiate contracts.
