KCE jumps on broker upgrades, PCB price hikes, and Tesla robot PCB talks
▲
Broker upgrades and higher target prices KKPS, TTB Wealth, Krungsri and others raised KCE targets to 97-104 baht, expecting profit to grow about 77-95% in 2026 and 82-110% in 2027. Higher targets pull the stock up as investors price in much stronger future earnings.
Multiple new broker upgrades and sharply higher targets are the main new force lifting KCE this period.
▲
PCB price hikes and tight supply KCE plans to raise PCB selling prices about 9-10% because copper and other raw material costs are rising, with another increase possible in October 2026. Tight PCB supply gives it room to charge more, which expands margins and profit.
The price-increase cycle is a new, concrete driver of higher earnings and margins.
▲
Tesla robot PCB talks and new markets KCE is in talks with Tesla to jointly develop PCBs for humanoid robots, AI and communications systems, though no deal is signed. If it wins orders, it opens a large new market beyond cars, and investors are already paying for that hope.
The Tesla humanoid robot opportunity is a new potential revenue stream that is driving buying interest.
◆
Flood risk and foreign selling cap gains Flooding in Thailand raised fears for factories in at-risk areas, though KCE's main plants were not flooded and brokers called it a short-term drag. Foreign investors sold Thai stocks for seven straight days, and analysts advised holding 30-40% cash, limiting upside.
This is the main counterweight: real risks that could hold KCE back even as the story improves.

AI demand and weak baht lift KCE, but tariffs and costs weigh
▲
AI-driven PCB demand and weak baht boost exports Strong AI-related demand for printed circuit boards and a weak Thai baht helped push Thai PCB exports up 82%. KCE's Q2 profit jumped 51–52% to 276 million baht, prompting broker upgrades and price target hikes of 9–10%.
This is the main positive force behind KCE's performance in the quarter.
▲
Tesla Optimus robot talks spark speculative interest KCE is in talks to supply PCBs for Tesla's Optimus robot, a potential new revenue stream. However, no deal is signed, so the robotics revenue remains speculative and may not materialize.
This is a new potential growth driver that excited investors, though unconfirmed.
▼
US tariffs and rising material costs pressure margins US Section 301 tariffs impose a 12.5% levy on Thai electronics, while fiberglass costs rose 50–60% and copper foil 7–8%. These cost increases and tariffs threaten KCE's profitability and competitiveness.
These are key headwinds that could offset positive demand trends.
▼
Global tech sell-off and foreign selling weigh on stock A global tech sell-off, Chinese competition, possible US semiconductor tariffs, Thai flood fears, and persistent foreign selling pressured KCE's stock. Analysts recommend holding 30–40% cash amid these risks.
These factors contributed to negative sentiment and selling pressure on the stock.

Brokerage says electronics stocks to grow in second half, DELTA stands out on AI tailwinds
The research department of Asia Plus Securities has issued an analysis of the electronics sector, noting that the current flooding situation, with northern runoff flowing in, has not yet been reported to have flooded the Hi-Tech Industrial Estate in Ayutthaya Province, where the factories of KCE and HANA are located. However, it is necessary to monitor whether flooding in surrounding areas will affect key transport routes and the production of both companies. The research department views the flooding issue as only a short-term pressure factor that may somewhat affect transportation and employee commuting in early the fourth quarter of 2026, but it will not affect the production base as in 2011. Meanwhile, demand trends for electronics products remain high, so the overall profit picture for the electronics sector in the third quarter of 2026 is expected to grow both QoQ and YoY and to climb to a peak level in the fourth quarter of 2026, driven by DELTA's profit, which is the key driver of the sector's profit. The research department therefore maintains an "overweight" rating on the electronics sector, selecting DELTA as the sector's top pick with a target price of 333 baht, because demand in AI and data centers that continues to rise will benefit DELTA the most. At the same time, it is expected to be affected by flooding less than both HANA and KCE. In addition, DELTA's share price is still a laggard in the sector, having risen 51% year-to-date, still less than HANA and KCE, whose share prices have already risen 219% to 312%.
BLS picks 10 stocks for a quick recovery after the floods recede, with standout Q3/2026 earnings through 2027
Bualuang Securities (BLS) said in an analysis that the flood situation has widened, covering 30 provinces and 191 districts in Bangkok as of 1 October 2026, affecting 1.18 million households and about 3.35 million people. The impact on the economy remains limited, however, if the situation does not drag on and does not hit core production bases. The Bank of Thailand estimates the effect on GDP at about 0.03–0.10%, while the research team expects the impact on GDP to be no more than 0.1% and on SET earnings no more than 2%, far below the major floods of 2011. The key thing to watch is the length of production stoppages in the industrial sector rather than the amount of flooded area. At AMATA City Chonburi, about 150 factories were affected and 34 temporarily halted production, while KCE and HANA have some production bases in Ayutthaya. As for DELTA's plants in Bang Pu and Wellgrow, no water entered the factories and operations have returned to normal. Other groups saw fairly limited impact. Consumer finance firms are expected to see about a 2% hit to 2026 earnings for TIDLOR and MTC and 1% for SAWAD, while banks face their main risk from higher provisioning, with an estimated 1–2% impact on earnings, larger than the effect on interest income. BGRIM said its SPP power plants in Amata City Chonburi and its floating solar operations are still running normally. Bualuang sees the flood-driven volatility as a chance to gradually accumulate stocks with resilient earnings and quick recovery prospects, namely CRC, AWC, CENTEL, BDMS, BH, GULF, GUNKUL, DELTA, KCE and HANA, which still have support from demand for AI and data centers.
KCE.BK · Supply · Negative KCE has production bases in Ayutthaya affected by the widening floods, though it is also listed among stocks with quick recovery prospects.
DELTA.BK · Supply · Positive DELTA's Bang Pu and Wellgrow plants were not flooded and operations have returned to normal, and it is on BLS's recovery list.
MTC.BK · Capital · Negative Floods are expected to hit MTC's 2026 earnings by about 2%.
SAWAD.BK · Capital · Negative Floods are expected to hit SAWAD's 2026 earnings by about 1%.
TIDLOR.BK · Capital · Negative Floods are expected to hit TIDLOR's 2026 earnings by about 2%.
HANA.BK · Supply · Positive HANA has some production bases in Ayutthaya affected by floods but is on BLS's quick-recovery list with AI/data-center demand support.
Pie Securities: Weak US Jobs Data Boosts TECH Stocks, Watch DELTA HANA KCE
Pie Securities reported that US non-farm payrolls and the unemployment rate came in below analyst expectations, pushing bond yields lower and supporting US stock markets, with the DJIA closing up 250 points, or 0.49%, and the S&P500 closing up 0.7%. Meanwhile, Brent crude oil fell 0.06% after European leaders planned to release strategic oil reserves, with Europe's release volume at 100 million barrels, equivalent to just 5 days of shipments through the Strait of Hormuz compared with 20 million barrels per day. The standout gainers on Friday night were semiconductor stocks. For the Thai stock market, Pie Securities estimates the SET index range at 1560 to 1580 points, viewing the market as having moved past flood concerns, with foreign investors beginning to sell less on a net basis. It recommends a short-term strategy of trading TECH stocks in the DELTA HANA KCE group, supported by the rise in US semiconductor stocks. Four brokerages say Bangkok floods cause limited damage of 20–40 billion baht, highlight stocks set to benefit from home repairs, retail and chips
Four brokerages assess that the flood situation in Bangkok and its vicinity in 2026 will cause limited economic damage, as the waters have not yet spread into industrial estates or key production bases, unlike the great flood of 2011 that disrupted production chains on a wide scale. Finansia Syrus Securities estimates preliminary damage at around 20–40 billion baht, or roughly 0.1–0.2% of GDP, and views pressure on the stock market as reflecting short-term concerns rather than affecting earnings. Kasikorn Securities estimates damage at about 3,000–4,000 million baht per day, or roughly 20–30 billion baht per week; if severe conditions persist for one week, it could drag on GDP by about 0.1%. As of 27 September 2026, 25 provinces and 128 districts have been affected, with about 545,000 people impacted, compared with 2011 when floods hit 66 provinces, affected about 13.6 million people and caused damage of approximately 1.4 trillion baht. CGS International notes that Bangkok and its vicinity account for about 47.3% of the country's economy, and divides the situation into two scenarios: if water can be drained within 4–5 days, the impact will be limited, but if it drags on beyond 5 days, it could weigh more on purchasing power and consumption. For stocks that benefit after the waters recede, Finansia Syrus favours HMPRO, GLOBAL, DOHOME, TOA, SCGD, DCC and DRT, while Kasikorn favours retail and food groups as well as the ICT group. Pi Securities estimates a SET range of 1,590–1,620 points and picks BDMS, BCH, CPALL, PTT, PTTEP, PTTGC, TOP, ITC and TU, while CGS International says to watch DELTA, HANA and KCE if the SET falls below 1,600 points, on the theme of investment in artificial intelligence and digital infrastructure.

ASPS recommends holding 30-40% cash to weather volatility, highlights KCE, SCC, CK
Asia Plus Securities, or ASPS, is advising investors to raise their cash allocation to 30-40% of their portfolios to reduce risk from volatility and wait for the right moment to accumulate fundamentally strong stocks. The recommendation comes amid pressure from the Persian Gulf situation, where the US Department of Defense is preparing to send another aircraft carrier along with more than 10,000 marines into the area if Donald Trump escalates his handling of Iran. That has pushed Brent crude to 102.3 US dollars per barrel. Meanwhile, European inflation in September came in higher than expected in several countries, with France at 3.0%, Spain at 4.9%, Italy at 4.1% and Germany at 3.3% year on year, driving overall eurozone inflation to 3.7% year on year. On the Thai side, the stock market saw net selling of 771 million US dollars, as 10-year bond yields worldwide rose by 0.20% to 1.50% over the past month, pressuring Thailand's market earnings yield gap down to 3.7% from 5.3% early in the year, while the baht weakened into a range of 35 to 37 baht per dollar. However, the weaker baht is a positive for three main business groups: exporters such as TU, ITC and CPF; the medical group such as BH, BDMS, BCH and PR9; and the tourism group such as AOT and CENTEL. In addition, the research team has selected five standout stocks for the day: AMAT01, MRVL06, KCE, SCC and CK. KCE is expected to see third and fourth quarter profits recover both quarter on quarter and year on year, benefiting from a shortage of PCB circuit boards. SCC drew a positive market response after excluding its olefins business, while CK benefits from accelerated disbursement and government project bidding, with third quarter results expected to mark the year's peak.
Krungsri upgrades electronics stocks to Bullish, highlighting DELTA and KCE as top picks
The analyst team at Krungsri Securities has raised its recommendation on the electronic components sector to Bullish from Neutral, expecting every company in the group to post stronger earnings in the third quarter of 2026 than in the second quarter, with momentum continuing through the fourth quarter of 2026 and into 2027. The brokerage expects the industry's combined profit to grow 52% in 2027, accelerating from 42% in 2026, driven by demand for both AI-related and non-AI products. It recommends buying all three stocks under coverage: DELTA with a target price of 320 baht and KCE with a target price of 97 baht, naming them top picks on the theme of product price increases, which should deliver the strongest net profit per share growth in 2027. DELTA is expected to post profit growth of 51% in 2027, up from 42% in 2026, while KCE is seen growing from 77% in 2026 to 82% in 2027, and HANA from 24% in 2026 to 45% in 2027. The brokerage also raised its earnings forecasts for KCE by 5% for 2026 and by 28% for 2027 to reflect its positive view that KCE is entering a sustained cycle of product price increases, including one more price increase in October 2026 on top of the two previously expected in July 2026 and January 2027. Among non-AI stocks, it still prefers KCE over HANA because KCE operates further upstream and owns its own laminate factory, giving it better control over raw material costs.
DELTA.BK · Capital · Positive Krungsri upgraded the electronics sector to Bullish and named DELTA a top pick with a 320 baht target, expecting 51% profit growth in 2027.
KCE.BK · Capital · Positive Krungsri named KCE a top pick with a 97 baht target and raised its earnings forecasts by 5% for 2026 and 28% for 2027.

HANA.BK · Capital · Positive Krungsri raised its sector view to Bullish and forecasts HANA's profit growth accelerating from 24% in 2026 to 45% in 2027, though it prefers KCE over HANA.
IAA Expects SET to Close 2026 at 1,680 Points, Recommends 5 Standout Stocks: BDMS, KBANK, DELTA, GULF, CRC
The Investment Analysts Association, or IAA, estimates that the SET Index in the fourth quarter of 2026 will move within a range of 1,537 to 1,683 points and is expected to close the year 2026 at 1,680 points. Sombut Naravuttichai, secretary-general of the association, said the survey of analysts and fund managers from 25 companies has not yet incorporated the impact of the flood situation, and puts the SET Index target for the end of 2027 at 1,727 points. It also forecasts average market EPS of 103.38 baht for 2026 and 104.29 baht for 2027, representing average EPS growth of 16.41% in 2026. Five stocks are recommended by four or more research houses in agreement: BDMS, KBANK, DELTA, GULF and CRC. The association recommends increasing weighting in tourism, healthcare, banking, power plants, utilities, commerce and electronics, while most analysts advise avoiding energy and petrochemical stocks, airlines and property. Wichit Arayapisit, senior director of the securities analysis department at Kasikorn Securities, said the firm has raised its SET Index target for the end of 2027 to 1,680 points from 1,620 points, and estimates EPS this year at 110 baht per share, while next year it is expected to fall about 5% to 105 baht per share. It recommends a defensive strategy for the fourth quarter of 2026, favouring electronics such as DELTA, KCE and HANA, power plants such as GULF and GPSC, banks such as KTB and KKP, and hotels and tourism such as CENTEL and AWC.
GULF.BK · Capital · Positive IAA/Kasikorn recommend GULF as a standout power-plant/utility pick for Q4 2026 defensive strategy.
KBANK.BK · Capital · Positive KBANK is one of five stocks recommended by four or more research houses, with banking sector favored for increased weighting.

GPSC.BK · Capital · Positive GULF is one of five stocks recommended by four or more research houses and a favored power-plant pick.
HANA.BK · Capital · Positive Kasikorn Securities recommends HANA among favored electronics stocks for Q4 2026.
Krungsri keeps Buy on KCE with new 97 baht target on PCB price-hike cycle
Krungsri Securities maintains its Buy rating on KCE Electronics and raises its target price to 97 baht from 68 baht, based on a 2027 P/E of 45 times, compared with the closing price of 76.25 baht on 30 September 2026, implying 27% upside from the new target. Krungsri has raised its earnings forecasts for KCE, expecting profit to rise 5% in 2026 and 28% in 2027, on the view that KCE is entering a sustained product price-increase cycle and is expected to raise PCB prices again in October 2026 after copper prices continued to climb, with signals from DELTA that PCB suppliers are seeking another round of price increases in the same month. For KCE, a major maker of automotive printed circuit boards, or PCBs, the research team says the company is entering an upcycle, with management guiding that fourth-quarter 2026 orders will be at a good level and steady versus the third quarter of 2026 despite the low season, while the company plans to raise PCB prices by 9-10% in line with higher raw material costs. Under the revised forecasts, Krungsri expects core profit of 1.404 billion baht in 2026, up 77.3%, and 2.562 billion baht in 2027, up 82.4%, with these forecasts not yet including revenue from Tesla. On revenue, Krungsri expects KCE to post 14.811 billion baht in 2026, up 13.3%, and 18.514 billion baht in 2027, up 25.0%, while EBITDA is forecast at 2.676 billion baht in 2026 and 3.995 billion baht in 2027. The gross margin is expected to rise from 22.5% in 2026 to 26.5% in 2027. Krungsri notes that KCE has its own laminate production facilities, which allows it to control raw material prices well and leaves it less affected by higher raw material costs than its competitors. KCE trades at a P/E of about 35 times on 2027 forecasts, while EPS is expected to grow 82%. Krungsri says the catalyst driving the stock toward the new target price is strong earnings momentum, which is expected to become visible from the third quarter of 2026 onward.
Asia Plus Securities Public Company Limited, or ASPS, recommends that investors raise their cash holdings to 30% - 40% of their portfolios and shift strategy toward seeking out "stocks resilient to selling pressure" to cope with pressure on the Thai capital market from both domestic and foreign sources, particularly the selling by foreign investors who dumped Thai stocks for 7 consecutive trading days between September 22 and 30, totaling more than 30,572 million baht, pushing trading value to exceed 100 billion baht. The safe-haven stocks are divided into two main groups. The first group benefits from the weak baht amid foreign selling, namely CPF, ITC, KCE and HANA. The second group consists of low-volatility stocks entering their high season (Defensive & Healthcare), namely BH, BDMS, BCH and PR9. Meanwhile, the 5 standout stocks and DRs recommended to cope with the volatile market conditions are AAPL80, on the positive factor of the upcoming launch of 3 new smartphone models in the middle of this month; GOOGL01, on positive sentiment from the launch of the AI model "GEMINI 4 ARGON" that has risen to number 1 in the world; BDMS, on its third-quarter 2026 operating results that are clearly recovering, with revenue in July-August growing 8-9% compared with the same period last year, while the share price remains a laggard; CK, after the unlocking of the barcode law issue supports progress on the 2027 budget and new bidding projects, along with receiving dividends from its subsidiaries BEM, CKP and TTW; and ITC, whose fourth-quarter 2026 profit trend is expected to recover strongly compared with the previous quarter and which is a stock that directly benefits from the weakening baht trend.
AAPL · Technology · Positive ASPS picks AAPL80 as a standout on the upcoming launch of 3 new smartphone models mid-month.
BDMS.BK · Capital · Positive ASPS picks BDMS on clearly recovering Q3 2026 results with July-August revenue up 8-9% YoY while the share price lags.

KSS says SET is starting to base out, flood situation 65% past its peak, recommends 6 standout stocks
Koraphat Worachet, Head of Research at Krungsri Securities Public Company Limited, or KSS, said on the stock-focused market news program on October 1, 2026, that the Thai stock market has a chance to begin forming a base from now on if there are no additional significant negative factors from the flood situation. He assessed that overall water conditions have about a 65% chance of having already passed their peak, although some areas still face the risk of another round of flooding, the severity is not expected to exceed that of the past weekend. On the impact, KSS stated that water levels in the northern region that could flow down and add to the situation remain at about 70-75% of the level seen during the great flood of 2011, and if the impact is limited to one to two weeks, it could affect GDP by about 0.3%, compared with 2011, when the impact on GDP reached as much as about 3%. On investment strategy, KSS recommended six standout stocks: KBANK and KTB in the banking group, on the trend of large corporate customer loans growing in line with investment in data centers and AI infrastructure; KCE and DELTA in the electronic components group, with KSS raising its target price for KCE to 69.70 baht; PTTGC in the petrochemical group, on its joint venture cooperation with the Siam Cement Group and the chance of support from the MSCI index review in November; and COM7 in the consumer and finance group, on the trend of continued growth in smartphone and IT equipment sales. It also gave a support range for the SET Index at 1,545-1,550 points and a resistance level at 1,580 points.

Foreign investors dump Thai stocks for 7 days, topping 30 billion baht; Asia Plus warns of compounding negatives
Asia Plus Securities warns that the Thai economy is facing multiple compounding negative factors at once. Foreign investors sold Thai stocks on a net basis for seven consecutive trading days, totaling 30.572 billion baht between September 22 and 30, pushing trading value above 100 billion baht, with only four SET100 stocks closing higher. The main pressure comes from the 10-year US government bond yield, which surged to 5.30%, the highest since 2007, while US inflation remains above the 2.0% target after the August 2026 PCE index expanded 3.4%. Domestically, the Royal Irrigation Department increased water discharge from the Chao Phraya Dam to 2,500 cubic meters per second and expects water from Nakhon Sawan to reach 3,000 cubic meters per second on October 2. It estimates flood damage over one week could reach 5 billion to 10 billion baht and could push third-quarter 2026 GDP down to 2.1% to 2.2%. At the same time, during Golden Week from October 1 to 7, Thailand faces image risks from flooding and airport baggage problems, while the public debt-to-GDP ratio stands at 67.45%, near the 70% fiscal discipline ceiling. The research team recommends shifting strategy from seeking rising stocks to seeking stocks resilient to selling pressure, and raising cash holdings to 30% to 40% of the portfolio, choosing stocks that benefit from a weak baht such as CPF, ITC, KCE and HANA, along with low-volatility and healthcare names such as BH, BDMS, BCH and PR9.

HANA.BK · Monetary · Positive Cited as a weak-baht beneficiary among recommended resilient stocks during the foreign selloff.
KCE.BK · Monetary · Positive Asia Plus recommends KCE as a stock benefiting from a weak baht amid foreign selling pressure
KCE Jumps 4% as Broker Lifts Target to 104 Baht on PCB Recovery and New Business
Shares of KCE Electronics Public Company Limited, or KCE, rose 4.32% to 78.50 baht on trading value of 995.24 million baht after Kiatnakin Phatra Securities, together with BofA Global Research, initiated coverage of KCE with a buy rating and raised its target price to 104 baht from 67.75 baht, based on a target price-to-earnings ratio of 38.1 times. Analysts believe KCE's 2025 earnings have likely passed their trough and that the company is entering a new upcycle, forecasting net profit of 1.529 billion baht in 2026, up 95% from the previous year, and 3.212 billion baht in 2027, up 110% from the previous year and about 69% above market estimates. For 2028, net profit is expected to rise further to 4.174 billion baht. The drivers come from the recovery of the PCB industry, growing PCB demand in EVs and software-defined vehicles, and tightening automotive PCB supply amid the AI boom. The satellite communications business is expected to account for about 16% of PCB revenue in 2027, rising to 30% in 2028. KCE is also in talks with Tesla to make PCBs for humanoid robots, having passed part of the qualification process and awaiting final design approval. BofA estimates the global humanoid robot market could be worth as much as 100 billion US dollars by 2033, with global shipments rising nearly fivefold from about 290,000 units in 2027 to 1.2 million units in 2030.

Electronics stocks surge across the board, KCE leads with 11.07% gain, broker sets target at 104 baht
Electronics sector stocks rose sharply across the board on September 29, moving against the decline in the Thai stock index. KCE Electronics Public Company Limited, or KCE, climbed 11.07%, or 7.50 baht, to close at 75.25 baht. Next came Cal-Comp Electronics (Thailand) Public Company Limited, or CCET, up 4.42%, or 0.40 baht, to close at 9.45 baht, and Hana Microelectronics Public Company Limited, or HANA, up 2.44%, or 1.25 baht, to close at 52.50 baht. Naphan Jaisaen, deputy manager of the research department and a fundamental investment analyst covering capital markets at Bualuang Securities Public Company Limited, said KCE received positive news flow from negotiations to develop printed circuit boards, or PCBs, jointly with Tesla for use in humanoid robot projects, artificial intelligence technology, and communication systems. He assessed that a price of 60 to 65 baht reflects value from the existing business and product price increases, while 70 to 75 baht reflects orders tied to Tesla, and 80 to 85 baht reflects the chance of winning orders related to AI technology. He recommended waiting to accumulate shares in the 60 to 65 baht range. As for HANA, he said it has already traded on the AI story ahead of actual earnings figures, giving a price range of 50 to 55 baht and recommending waiting for a pullback before buying. Meanwhile, an analysis by Kiatnakin Phatra Securities Public Company Limited recommended buying KCE with a target price of 104 baht and raised its target price for HANA to 61 baht from 42 baht, while lifting its profit forecasts for 2026 and 2027 by 8% and 31% respectively.

The analyst at TTB Wealth Securities Public Company Limited has upgraded KCE stock to "Buy" from "Sell," raised its target price to 100 baht from 31 baht, and lifted its profit forecasts for 2026-2029 by 0.6%, 35%, 95% and 137% respectively. The analyst believes the market share KCE lost to Chinese competitors is recovering as more orders flow in amid geopolitical factors, since KCE is a Thai company with production bases in Thailand. EPS for KCE is now expected to grow 85%, 107% and 38% in 2026-2028, while its customer base is expanding from Europe to the United States and existing US customers are increasing their orders. Dollar-denominated sales are expected to grow 21%, 64% and 17% in 2026-2028, compared with a decline of 9% per year in 2023-2025. KCE may also benefit from a shortage of a key raw material, fiberglass, for another one to two quarters, which helps ease price competition. As for the profit outlook for the second half of 2026, third-quarter 2026 profit is expected at 441 million baht, up 51% from a year earlier and 83% from the previous quarter, while fourth-quarter 2026 profit is expected at 573 million baht, up 315% from a year earlier and 30% from the previous quarter.
KCE.BK · Capital · Positive TTB Wealth upgraded KCE to Buy and raised its target price to 100 baht from 31 baht, lifting 2026-2029 profit forecasts.
KCE.BK · Demand · Positive KCE is recovering lost market share as new orders flow in, with US customers increasing orders and dollar sales forecast to grow.
KKPS recommends buying KCE with a 104 baht target and HANA with a 61 baht target, citing the upturn in the PCB cycle and AI projects
Kiatnakin Phatra Securities Public Company Limited, or KKPS, issued a research note dated 29 September 2026 recommending a "Buy" on KCE Electronics Public Company Limited, or KCE, with a target price of 104 baht, and maintaining a "Buy" on Hana Microelectronics Public Company Limited, or HANA, while raising its target price to 61 baht from 42 baht. It views both companies as entering a new growth cycle driven by a recovery in their core businesses and opportunities from artificial intelligence, or AI, related operations. For KCE, the research team sees it entering an upcycle in the printed circuit board, or PCB, business, expecting normal earnings per share to grow by about 95% in 2026 and 110% in 2027, which is about 69% above the market average. It expects net profit attributable to the company after excluding special items of about 1.529 billion baht in 2026, rising to 3.212 billion baht in 2027 and 4.174 billion baht in 2028. The communications business, especially PCBs for low Earth orbit, or LEO, satellites, is expected to increase its share to about 16% of PCB revenue in 2027 and 30% in 2028. As for HANA, KKPS raised its 2026 and 2027 earnings forecasts by 8% and 31% respectively, expecting profit growth of about 20% in 2026 and 53% in 2027, supported by a rise in capacity utilisation in its OSAT business in Ayutthaya province to 62% from 55%. It expects net profit attributable to the company after excluding special items of about 999 million baht in 2026, rising to 1.533 billion baht in 2027 and 1.78 billion baht in 2028. Meanwhile, two of HANA's three AI projects, Phononic TEC and High-density PCBA, have begun ramping up production and are expected to generate combined revenue of about 2.5 to 3.5 billion baht in 2027.
HANA.BK · Capital · Positive KKPS maintains Buy and raises HANA's target price to 61 baht, lifting 2026-27 earnings forecasts on OSAT utilization and AI project ramp-up.
KCE.BK · Capital · Positive KKPS initiates Buy on KCE with a 104 baht target, citing a PCB upcycle and ~95%/110% EPS growth in 2026-27.
KCE surges 10.33% as broker raises target price to 104 baht, expects 2026 profit to grow 95%
KCE shares closed the morning session at 74.75 baht, up 10.33%, driven mainly by a broker upgrading its target price to 104 baht. Kiatnakin Phatra Securities maintained its buy recommendation and sees strong profit growth potential for KCE as it enters a new growth cycle. The company's estimated 2026 profit is expected to surge 95%, reflecting a recovery in the automotive industry and an upcycle in the PCB industry, which is the company's core business. PCB prices are entering an upcycle amid rising demand for electronic components driven by the technology and AI cycle, while signs of tight PCB supply give the company room to raise selling prices. Kasikorn Securities sees KCE benefiting from PCB price increases from the second half of 2026 onward. As for third-quarter 2026 profit trends, they are improving on higher PCB selling prices and cost controls that are starting to bear fruit, especially for chemical costs, which account for a relatively high share of cost of sales, while lower oil prices help ease pressure from raw material costs. There is also speculative interest in electronics stocks after the broader technology and semiconductor industry recovered. Earlier, Bualuang Securities also picked KCE as one of its top stocks on the global technology and manufacturing cycle theme.
Kasikornbank says Thailand-EU FTA is two-thirds done, decisive round on Sept 28 seen boosting exports and industrial estates
Kasikornbank Securities said Thailand is accelerating negotiations on a Thailand-EU FTA, which is now more than two-thirds complete, with a decisive round of talks set for September 28. It is also reviving the Thailand-UAE CEPA after a hiatus of more than three years. Both agreements would help expand exports, attract FDI and diversify markets toward Europe and the Middle East, though conclusions are still needed on sensitive issues covering agriculture, medicine and regulations. The research team views this as a positive for sentiment toward food exporters, autos, electronics and industrial estates such as CPF, TU, DELTA, KCE, HANA, AMATA and WHA, but the impact on earnings will become clear only after negotiations conclude and the agreements take effect.
AMATA.BK · Tariff · Positive Thailand-EU FTA and UAE CEPA progress would attract FDI and boost industrial estate demand, with Amata named as a beneficiary.
CPF.BK · Tariff · Positive Thailand-EU FTA would expand food exports, with CPF named as a beneficiary of the trade agreement.
DELTA.BK · Tariff · Positive Thailand-EU FTA would expand electronics exports, with Delta named as a beneficiary of the trade agreement.
HANA.BK · Tariff · Positive Thailand-EU FTA would expand electronics exports, with Hana named as a beneficiary of the trade agreement.
KCE.BK · Tariff · Positive Thailand-EU FTA would expand electronics exports, with KCE named as a beneficiary of the trade agreement.

Broker keeps Overweight on electronics stocks, says floods are only a short-term drag, picks DELTA as Top pick
The research department of Asia Plus Securities issued an analysis of the electronics sector, noting that continuous heavy rain from September 24 to September 27, 2026 caused flooding in many areas across the country, but the main factories of sector companies such as DELTA, HANA and KCE have not been flooded. The research department views that all three companies will not be severely affected like in the great flood of 2011, because currently no production base has been flooded, most areas have begun to see water levels recede and rain has started to ease since September 27, 2026, and the volume of water discharged from dams into the central region is still not as high as in 2011. It therefore views the flood issue in September 2026 as only a short-term pressure factor. Meanwhile, it expects the sector's third-quarter 2026 profit to grow both QoQ and YoY and to climb to a peak level in the fourth quarter of 2026, driven by DELTA's profit as the main contributor to sector earnings. The research department therefore maintains an investment weighting in the electronics sector above the market and selects DELTA as Top pick, because it expects the impact from flooding to be lower than both HANA and KCE. Rising investment in AI and data centers worldwide is expected to directly benefit DELTA the most, and DELTA's share price is still a laggard, having risen 52% year-to-date, still less than HANA and KCE, which have already risen 210% to 264%.
Artificial Intelligence › AI Compute & Accelerator Silicon Demand
DELTA.BK · Demand · Positive Broker picks DELTA as Top pick, saying rising global AI and data-center investment directly benefits DELTA most and its factories were not flooded.
HANA.BK · Supply · Neutral HANA's main factories were not flooded, but the broker expects it to be more affected by the flooding than DELTA.
KCE.BK · Supply · Neutral KCE's main factories were not flooded, but the broker expects it to be more affected by the flooding than DELTA.
CGSI says floods drag SET below 1,600 points, sees it as a chance to accumulate DELTA, HANA and KCE
Nakorn Hataisattha, Head of Retail Investment Strategy Research and Economist at CGS International Securities (Thailand), or CGSI, said on the Stock News Market Focus programme on 28 September 2026 that the flooding in Bangkok and its surrounding provinces this time differs from the great flood of 2011, because Bangkok and its vicinity account for about 47.3% of the Thai economy, making it a hugely important area for the country's economic activity. However, water levels in northern dams in 2026 stand at around 70%, compared with about 94% during the 2011 crisis, so the overall national risk still differs from that past event. Nakorn estimates the SET index could weaken below 1,600 points on selling driven by flood worries, but if the flooding eases within about four to five days, the market's correction could be a chance to buy certain stock groups. If the situation drags on beyond four to five days, the downside risk for the stock market will increase. Groups likely to come under pressure include property, stocks with factories in at-risk areas including electronic components such as KCE, insurers burdened by claims, and commercial banks on concerns about ECL provisioning. Retail stocks, meanwhile, may get a short-term positive sentiment boost from demand for consumer goods and home repair products. For high-dividend bank stocks such as TISCO and KKP, they could be an option if the situation eases quickly, with KKP also supported by the expansion of its investment platform business. CGSI believes that if the index falls below 1,600 points, the electronic components group is attractive to buy, especially DELTA, which still has a positive outlook from growing Thai exports of electronics and electrical appliances, and from the global investment cycle in AI, digital infrastructure, chips and memory, which continues to expand. If DELTA's share price falls sharply because of the floods, which are a one-off event, CGSI sees it as a chance to accumulate. Investors who do not want much volatility can consider HANA and KCE, and Nakorn said he likes HANA if the price falls to an attractive level.
DELTA.BK · Demand · Positive CGSI names DELTA as attractive to buy on positive outlook from growing Thai electronics exports and global AI/digital-infra investment cycle.
KCE.BK · Supply · Neutral KCE is flagged as pressured due to factories in flood at-risk areas, yet also named among electronics components stocks CGSI sees as attractive to buy.
HANA.BK · Demand · Positive CGSI lists HANA among stocks to accumulate on the flood-driven SET dip, citing the electronics components group's appeal.
KKP.BK · Monetary · Positive CGSI says high-dividend bank stocks like TISCO could be an option if the flooding eases quickly.
TISCO.BK · Monetary · Positive CGSI cites KKP as a high-dividend bank option if flooding eases, also supported by expansion of its investment platform business.
Kasikorn Securities Expects Electronics Group Earnings to Accelerate in Second Half of 2026, Recommends Buying DELTA with 300 Baht Target, HANA with 56 Baht Target
Analysts at Kasikorn Securities remain positive on the electronics group in the fourth quarter of 2026, expecting second-half 2026 earnings to accelerate notably, led by DELTA benefiting from capacity utilization and recovering margins, HANA from the ramp-up of AI-related products, and KCE from higher PCB sales volumes and upward ASP adjustments. AI and data centers are the main structural growth drivers underpinning continued demand for power electronics, advanced PCB, PCBA, and semiconductor components, supported by high demand from hyperscalers, gradually easing component constraints, an improved product mix, and a weaker baht, which is a positive factor for exporters' gross margins. However, risks remain from high raw material costs, particularly copper, fiberglass, copper clad laminate, and various electronic components, as well as the uneven recovery of end markets unrelated to AI, especially the automotive and EV segments. Strategically, the analysts recommend gradually accumulating electronics stocks on market dips, with DELTA rated Buy at a 300 baht target price, HANA rated Buy at a 56 baht target price, and KCE rated Hold at a 60 baht target price.
Bualuang flags strong year-end 2026, touts petrochemical and power stocks to lead
Mr. Wikit Thirawannarat, IAA, Assistant Managing Director and Head of Investment Strategy at Bualuang Securities, unveiled a portfolio-adjustment strategy for the final stretch of the year in the fourth quarter of 2026, recommending investors rotate among sectors in step with the market. Stocks with their main revenue from overseas remain the key driver, because domestic purchasing power alone is not enough to move the market. The groups that outperformed the market in the third quarter of 2026 were those tied to the global economy and commodities, including petrochemicals, refineries, shipping stocks such as RCL and PRM, agricultural and food-export names such as TVO, TU and ITC, and electronic components such as KCE and HANA. Meanwhile, groups tied to domestic consumption, such as telecoms ADVANC and TRUE and retailers CPALL and CPAXT, rose more slowly than the market. Three investment themes lead the way. First, refineries and petrochemicals, where supply is tight and global demand is strong, with TOP trading at a price-to-book ratio of only about 0.7 times and paying consistent dividends. Second, power plants, expected to be the star performer in the fourth quarter, driven by the build-out of data centers and production bases by foreign companies, clarity on direct PPA contracts, and the power development plan. Third, energy and technology infrastructure, which benefits from transmission systems, substations, smart grids, smart meters, rooftop solar and submarine cable projects. As for industrial estates, after a big run-up in the first and second quarters of 2026, they are expected to enter a period of consolidation and rebound within a sideways range. On external factors, the surge in bond yields worldwide is a highlight to watch; if yields start to fall, that would be a key turning point for the stock market. The Bank of Japan may keep raising rates through the middle of next year, ending at around 1.75 to 2.0 percent, South Korea at 3.5 percent, Europe at 3.0 percent in the first quarter of next year, and the US Federal Reserve may hike another one to two times. As for new US tariffs, the assessment is that they will target specific rival countries rather than be imposed across the board, so Thailand is likely to escape them and may even benefit from cheaper imported raw materials such as soybeans and soybean meal, which would lower animal-feed costs and support meat-export groups such as chicken and pork. On investment strategy, short-term traders are advised to rotate through sector rotation, alternating between banks and commodities, while long-term investors are advised to focus on infrastructure and power plants, with standout large-cap stocks capable of winning projects and co-investing in infrastructure being GULF and PTT.

InnovestX Says Fitch's Upgrade of Thailand to Stable Boosts Fund Flows, Highlights 14 Top Picks
InnovestX Securities assesses that the Thai stock market is starting to gain supportive themes after Fitch Ratings revised its outlook on Thailand's creditworthiness from Negative to Stable, while affirming the sovereign rating at BBB+. As a result, Fitch Ratings, Moody's Ratings, and S&P Global Ratings all now hold a Stable outlook on Thailand. Fitch views the improved government stability as reducing political uncertainty, and expects Thailand's economy to expand 2.3% in 2026, close to 2.4% in 2025, supported by investment in AI and data centers as well as consumption stimulus measures. It also expects general government debt to stay below 63% of GDP in fiscal 2028, an improvement from the previous estimate of 65%. On the external front, Fitch sees Thailand's position as still strong, expecting the current account to post a temporary deficit of 0.5% of GDP in 2026 before returning to a surplus of 1.5% in 2027. InnovestX sees this as positive for the Thai stock market, particularly in spurring foreign capital to flow back into big-cap stocks, commercial banks such as Bangkok Bank, KTB, and Kasikornbank, and in lowering the financial costs of listed companies, especially the finance group such as Muangthai Capital, Srisawad, and TIDLOR, as well as attracting long-term investment into future industries, including industrial estates such as Amata and WHA, power plants such as Gulf, GPSC, BGRIM, and Gunkul, and electronics components such as Hana and KCE, for a total of 14 top picks. However, it views that although the Fitch news is positive, it may support the market only in the short term, given lingering external negatives including geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and risks in the Strait of Hormuz, as well as volatility from global trade policy. It therefore recommends a Buy on Dip strategy, waiting to accumulate rather than chasing prices.
BBL.BK · Monetary · Positive Fitch's outlook upgrade to Stable is expected to spur foreign capital flows back into Thai big-cap commercial banks like Bangkok Bank.
GPSC.BK · Monetary · Positive Named among InnovestX's top picks as a power plant benefiting from long-term investment inflows after the Fitch upgrade.
GULF.BK · Monetary · Positive Named among InnovestX's top picks as a power plant attracting long-term investment after Thailand's credit outlook upgrade.

Pie says oil price falling below $100 supports Anti Oil and Non Bank stocks
Pie Securities stated that crude oil prices falling below the three-digit level for both Brent and WTI is a factor easing pressure on global bond yields and supporting Anti Oil and Non Bank stocks, after investors began to expect that the situation between the United States and Iran will move toward greater easing. Last night, Brent crude closed down 1.2% after reports that Saudi Arabia will reopen its oil pipeline. Meanwhile, the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed down 185 points, or 0.4%, on concerns that high oil prices could prompt the Fed to raise interest rates, and the latest CME Fed reading gives about 54% weight to the Fed raising rates at its October meeting. This morning, the KOSPI rose 1.6%, supporting Thai SEMI stocks such as DELTA, HANA, and KCE. Pie Securities estimates today's SET range at 1590 to 1620 points and recommends buying BA with a target price of 22.4 baht, citing the rise in passengers passing through Samui Airport in July and August both year on year and quarter on quarter. Phillip Picks DELTA, KCE, HANA as Standouts on AI Theme, Rates Them Outperform
Phillip Securities (Thailand) has issued an "outperform" rating on the electronics sector, selecting DELTA as its Top Pick for the third quarter of 2026, citing its share price lagging the sector and its strongest exposure to the AI theme. KCE and HANA stand to benefit from higher PCB selling prices and their expansion into High Density PCBA and Power Management. First-half sector profit came in at 16 billion baht, up 46.2% year on year, with growth spread across nearly every company, and the bulk of the profit came from DELTA, which benefited from greater recognition of revenue tied to AI and data centers than a year earlier. Other companies showed a picture of revenue recovering more strongly in the second quarter of 2026. For the third-quarter 2026 outlook, DELTA's profit is expected to rise quarter on quarter on higher AI product shipments, helped by a low base in the second quarter of 2026. In the U.S. stock market, investors are watching the CPU stock theme after GPT-6 Astra shifted fully into Agentic AI competition, forcing the CPU-to-GPU ratio up to 1:1, which supports the appeal of INTC and AMD. Cybersecurity names such as CRWD and PANW are also looking more attractive amid the push to enforce rules governing AI usage.

Electronics Stocks HANA DELTA KCE CCET Surge on Trump's AI Force Initiative
Electronics sector stocks rose after U.S. President Donald Trump announced plans to establish an AI Force and appoint a new AI Czar to oversee and support U.S. AI development, reaffirming a pro-growth approach under which the government will not issue rules that obstruct industry growth and will use existing criminal and civil laws to handle cases of AI misuse. Trump views AI as the Next Industrial Revolution and estimates it could eventually reach as much as 25% of the U.S. economy. As of 10:07 a.m., HANA gained 4.19%, up 2.00 baht to 49.75 baht, with trading value of 391.47 million baht. DELTA gained 2.07%, up 5.00 baht to 246.00 baht, with trading value of 1.1237 billion baht. CCET gained 1.69%, up 0.15 baht to 9.00 baht, with trading value of 66.44 million baht. KCE gained 1.15%, up 0.75 baht to 65.75 baht, with trading value of 140.37 million baht. And SMT gained 0.88%, up 0.05 baht to 5.75 baht, with trading value of 10.60 million baht. Krungsri Securities said it holds a positive view on the AI Investment Cycle because it reflects a U.S. policy direction still focused on accelerating AI innovation and infrastructure investment rather than increasing regulatory burden, consistent with earlier policies that accelerated AI adoption, cybersecurity, and high-security computing infrastructure. The positive sentiment extends to the global AI supply chain and connects to Thai stocks in the DELTA, HANA, KCE, and CCET theme, as well as GULF/GPSC and the data center infrastructure group. For DELTA, the recommendation is Buy with a 2027 target price of 320 baht, after it passed the hedging period for bondholder status, combined with an AI CAPEX picture driving demand for AI-related products, supporting a rapid recovery in normal third-quarter 2026 profit, up 33% year on year and up 54% quarter on quarter, and set to reach a quarterly peak in the fourth quarter of 2026 forecast. Profit for 2027-2028 is expected to accelerate by 51.4% and 37.7%, with upside potential, while the stock has corrected about 35% from its recent peak. For HANA, the recommendation is Buy with a 2027 target price of 64.6 baht, after a positive surprise of no cash-strapped status last week, combined with support from an accelerating AI CAPEX cycle and China's economic stimulus focused on supporting smart devices, offering upside potential. Profit is expected to grow 23.7% in 2026 and 44% in 2027, while the stock trades at a 2027 forecast PER of 29.5 times and a low PEG of about 0.67 times.

Bualuang keeps TRADING BUY on KCE with 70 baht target, sees further price hikes through 2027
Bualuang Securities says a new angle for KCE shares is the possibility that the selling price increase cycle could extend into 2027, even though the market has already priced in the July increase and another in the fourth quarter of 2026. The key driver is not direct demand for AI circuit boards, but the cost of standard E-glass, the upstream raw material for CCL, which continues to rise after producers gradually shifted capacity to higher-grade materials for AI that offer better returns. Morgan Stanley's price index for standard E-glass fiber rose from 1.0 times in September 2025 to 3.7 times in August 2026 and 4.1 times in September 2026, while KCE's fiberglass purchase price rose from 0.49 US dollars per meter in the second quarter of 2025 to 0.74 US dollars per meter in the second quarter of 2026, an increase of 51% year on year, which is still much smaller than the rise in upstream raw material prices, leaving a risk that cost pressure will feed through further. The research team has not yet included a third price increase in 2027 in its base-case estimates, because the general-grade CCL market is not yet entirely in shortage. It keeps its assumptions for the July and fourth-quarter 2026 price increases, maintains its TRADING BUY rating with a 70 baht target price, and views any additional price increase in 2027 as upside rather than part of the base case. Core profit is expected at 1.44 billion baht in 2026, up 78% year on year, 2.07 billion baht in 2027, up 43.9%, and 2.30 billion baht in 2028, up 11.1%.

Brent crude fell to around 104 to 105 dollars per barrel after Middle East concerns eased somewhat and Saudi Arabia said it would resume oil exports, helping push the US 10-year yield and 30-year yield lower. On US economic data released overnight, initial jobless claims came in at about 196,000, below market expectations. For short-term strategy, it recommends TECH names including DELTA and KCE after the Kospi rose about 2.5% this morning, as well as the tourism group including AOT, MINT, CENTEL, AWC, CPALL, CPN and HMPRO, and the hospital group including BDMS, BCH and PR9.
InnovestX outlines three Fed meeting scenarios and recommends defensive stocks
InnovestX Securities has assessed three possible outcomes for tomorrow's US Federal Reserve meeting, after US August inflation figures came in close to expectations. The Consumer Price Index stood at 3.4% year-on-year, unchanged from the previous month, while Core CPI slowed from 2.5% to 2.4% year-on-year. However, the month-on-month figures came in slightly above expectations, and the overall inflation level remains above the Fed's target, keeping the market concerned about the interest rate path. The first scenario is a hold, which is the base case, but the market assigns it only about 10% probability, while nearly 90% expect a rate hike. The second scenario is a single Dovish Hike with no signal of further increases, which could pressure the SET to pull back in the short term before building a base. The third scenario is a Hawkish Hike with a signal of further increases, in which case the Dot Plot must be watched to see whether it reflects a higher rate path for next year. For Thai equity portfolios, InnovestX recommends two defensive themes for low-risk investors. The first is a Domestic Play, focusing on big-cap stocks with domestic revenue, such as CPALL, CPN, CRC, BDMS, BCH, PR9 and CHG. The second is a High Dividend Play, stocks expected to deliver a consistent dividend yield above 5% per year, namely BBL, KTB, HMPRO, AP, SCCC, PTT, FTREIT and LHSC. For investors with a high risk appetite, the firm recommends a Tactical strategy based on the meeting outcome. If the Fed holds rates, it sees a Risk-on play in MTC, SAWAD, TIDLOR, AP, SIRI, DELTA, HANA and KCE. If it is a Dovish Hike, it recommends buying on dips. If it is a Hawkish Hike, it recommends raising cash holdings and waiting for a market correction over roughly three to six months before considering groups that benefit from high interest rates and a weak baht, namely BBL, KBANK, KTB, TLI, BLA, TU and ITC.
AP.BK · · Neutral Listed in InnovestX's recommended defensive Domestic Play and Risk-on tactical plays, but no company-specific development; recommendation is contingent on Fed outcome.
BBL.BK · · Neutral Named in InnovestX's High Dividend Play list (yield above 5%), a portfolio recommendation rather than a company-specific event.

Tisco raises electronics sector weighting to Overweight, highlights DELTA and HANA with Buy ratings
Tisco Securities has upgraded its investment weighting for the electronics sector to Overweight from Neutral, citing better-than-expected data center CAPEX spending in 2026, stronger second-half trends across all companies, and the sector's underperformance of 33% relative to the market in the recent period, which it believes has already priced in much of the market's remaining concerns. The research team raised its recommendation on DELTA to Buy with a fair value of 282 baht, after the market has already absorbed negative factors. Although raw material shortages, uncertainty over royalty fees, and the recent bond issuance by parent company Delta Taiwan remain pressures in the second half, the 37% decline in the share price is believed to have already reflected downside risks. Meanwhile, HANA was upgraded to Buy with its fair value raised to 61.50 baht, reflecting greater confidence after HANA passed all qualification requirements from end customers to generate AI revenue in the third quarter of 2026, with new HDI PCB expected to be a significant revenue driver in 2027. KCE retains its Hold rating with a fair value adjusted to 60.25 baht, as the share price has fully reflected its prospects, with humanoid robots and capacity expansion being the clearest supporting factors for 2028.

Tesla aims to scale up robot production from about 10,000 units initially to 1 million units per year, and eventually to 10 million units in the long term. KGI preliminarily estimates that revenue from this project could account for roughly 0.3% to 1.3% of KCE's total revenue, under the assumption of production of 1 million robots using PCBs worth 150 to 200 US dollars per unit and KCE holding an order share of about 1% to 3%. It has therefore not yet included revenue from this project in its forecasts. It also raised its core business profit forecasts for 2026-2027 by 6% to 25%, recommended "Hold" on KCE, and raised its end-2027 target price to 62 baht from 48 baht, based on a PER of 40 times. Meanwhile, HANA is expected to benefit indirectly from the upgrading of the AI server supply chain through three key businesses: thermal solutions for HBM and GPU through a partnership with Phononic, high-density PCBA testing equipment, and SiC solid-state transformers. Thai stocks ride AI wave as foreign capital jumps 80% in first half of 2026
The global AI investment wave is driving foreign capital into Thailand's infrastructure sectors, including data centers, power systems, cooling systems, PCB and storage. Data from Kasikorn Thai shows that in the first half of 2026, Thailand received investment promotion applications totaling 1.47 trillion baht, up 37% from a year earlier, while foreign capital rose 80% to 1.36 trillion baht, led by the digital and electronics industries. Among the stocks seen as direct beneficiaries is DELTA, which makes power supply and cooling systems for data centers and is ramping up commercial production of liquid cooling systems. HANA is viewed as the Thai stock market's new AI proxy, with AI-related products set to enter production lines in the second half of 2026. KCE is expected to benefit from the semiconductor upcycle and tight PCB supply, which could support selling prices and profits in the second half of 2026. SMT gains from the shift to optical connectivity, while CCET benefits from rising demand for both HDD and SSD storage as AI computing generates massive volumes of data. INSET has seen a flood of project inquiries, while WHA and AMATA stand to gain because data center businesses use roughly 12 to 16 times more electricity and water than general industrial plants, meaning industrial estate revenue does not end on the day land is sold but continues through long-term utility income. If foreign capital flows and data center investment accelerate further in 2027, the Thai stock market may see an increasingly clear picture of an AI ecosystem.

KKP Says AI Enters a New Cycle, Opening the Way for Thailand to Capture a New Wave of FDI, Highlights 10 Standout Stocks
Kiatnakin Phatra Securities Public Company Limited, or KKP, assesses that global AI investment is moving beyond chips into the surrounding infrastructure, which will create positive ripple effects for the Thai economy, especially the opportunity to attract a new wave of foreign direct investment, or FDI, into the country's industrial sector and advanced technology supply chain. The analysis notes that as AI systems grow larger, power per rack in data centers rises from several tens of kilowatts to about 600 kilowatts and could reach 1 megawatt in the future, shifting the main constraints to power delivery systems, cooling systems, and data transmission. KKP sees two key technologies that will drive the next phase: 800VDC technology and the shift to optical connectivity. KKP expects the new wave of FDI to flow into semiconductors, printed circuit boards, or PCBs, and advanced electronics, estimating that Thailand's major industrial estate developers, WHA and AMATA, will see land sales increase by about 2,500 rai per year and 2,000 rai per year, respectively. For the standout stocks that stand to benefit, KKP states that Delta Electronics (Thailand) Public Company Limited, or DELTA, is ready to serve demand for data center power systems and liquid cooling systems, while Hana Microelectronics Public Company Limited, or HANA, benefits from demand for analog ICs and power semiconductors. KCE Electronics Public Company Limited, or KCE, is ready to serve demand for high-end PCBs, and Stars Microelectronics (Thailand) Public Company Limited, or SMT, benefits directly from the shift to optical connectivity technology. Cal-Comp Electronics (Thailand) Public Company Limited, or CCET, has the potential to serve demand for both HDD and SSD storage devices. Beyond the electronics group, KKP states that AI's expansion also benefits energy infrastructure, as a global shortage of large power transformers bodes well for Thirai Public Company Limited, or TRT, while demand for transformer oil and fluids for liquid cooling systems opens opportunities for P.S.P. Specialties Public Company Limited, or PSP, as well as the strategic partnership of Millennium Group Corporation (Asia) Public Company Limited, or MGC, in developing humanoid robots. Supapong Iamkong-aek, an analyst at Kiatnakin Phatra Securities Public Company Limited, said global AI investment will not stop at software or chips but is spreading to areas where Thailand has good cost advantages, namely infrastructure and downstream industries, which is a window of opportunity that remains wide open for the Thai economy.

Bualuang raises KCE target to 70 baht, eyes Tesla Optimus and AI/datacom work
Bualuang Securities has raised its target price for KCE Electronics to 70 baht from 60 baht, maintaining a speculative buy recommendation. It estimates core profit for 2026–2027 at 1.44 billion baht, up 78% year on year, and 2.07 billion baht, up 44% year on year, respectively. The research team says the stock's next upside round depends on two factors that are not yet fully confirmed. The first is the chance to enter the supply chain of Tesla Optimus. KCE has not confirmed Tesla as a customer, only that there are potential transactions with a US company. It estimates that one robot uses about 40–50 PCB panels, or roughly 4 square feet, worth about US$90 per unit. If Fremont reaches its designed capacity of 1 million units a year and KCE wins a 10% share, that would generate revenue of about US$9 million, or roughly 2% of sales, and add about 5% to core profit. The second factor is AI/datacom work, which is the larger upside. KCE has installed capacity of 3.6 million square feet per month and is using only about 65%, leaving roughly 1.26 million square feet per month of spare capacity, plus space at the Rojana plant for another 1 million square feet per month. However, KCE is not yet ready to produce high-end AI circuit boards such as UBB/OAM or 800G/1.6T. A more likely starting point is 6–14 layer work for power systems, control and accessories, before moving up to network products of up to 400G after customer certification. If KCE shifts 50% of its spare capacity in 2027 to these higher-value jobs, the research team estimates upside of about 10–15% for revenue and 15–20% for core profit, with yield, process know-how and customer certification the deciding factors. In a bull case where KCE does enter AI/datacom work, the value is 85 baht.
KCE.BK · Capital · Positive Bualuang raised KCE's target price to 70 baht from 60 baht and maintained a speculative buy rating on higher 2026-2027 profit estimates.
KCE.BK · Demand · Positive Potential Tesla Optimus PCB orders and AI/datacom work could add revenue and core profit if KCE wins share and shifts spare capacity.
Bualuang Securities Expects 24.6 Billion Baht Inflows into Thailand Over 3 Months, Highlights KCE, PTT, PTTGC
Bualuang Securities has issued an analysis of interest rate trends across four major central banks, and estimates that foreign capital will flow into the Thai stock market to the tune of about 24.6 billion baht over the next three months. It notes that all six key factors currently used to gauge fund flow signals are above their averages, and four of the six are more than 0.5 standard deviations above, supported by an upcycle in global technology and manufacturing. This is reflected in South Korea's exports, which stand at +2.00 standard deviations after export figures for May to July 2026 grew 52.9%, 70.4% and 63.0% year on year respectively. Meanwhile, the US manufacturing index rose from 52.6 in January to 55.6 in July. On earnings revisions, SET profit estimates over the past three months have swung from -7.3% at the start of the year to +12.7% now, or +1.43 standard deviations, consistent with foreign investors' net buying of Thai stocks of about 58 billion baht year to date and 38 billion baht over the past three months. Quantitative estimates using Ridge Regression point to inflows of 27.6 billion baht, while a Rank Model gives 21.5 billion baht, putting the average base case at about 24.6 billion baht over the next three months. In a soft patch scenario where momentum slows, the models still show foreign capital remaining positive at about 10.3 billion baht. For investment strategy, Bualuang Securities recommends sector rotation trading, picking KCE on expectations that PCB deliveries in the third quarter of 2026 will rise quarter on quarter, supporting average selling prices up about 9% to 10% from July 1, with PCB revenue potentially rising 17% to 19% quarter on quarter. It also picks PTT and PTTGC to benefit from commodity prices and product spreads that remain at high levels. Stocks expected to underperform the market include banking, telecommunications, power plants, retail, finance, construction and industrial estates.

Bualuang broker says KCE PCB production for TESLA robots opens new upside
Bualuang Securities issued an analysis of KCE Electronics Public Company Limited, or KCE, noting reports that KCE is in the process of limited-volume printed circuit board production to test systems and the actual production line before beginning mass production, or pilot production, of PCB Optimus. If confirmed, this would open new upside for KCE. Meanwhile, Tesla is installing the first-generation Optimus production line at Fremont to prepare for production to begin in 2026, with that line designed for a long-term robot capacity of 1 million units per year. The second-generation line at Giga Texas is designed for long-term capacity of up to 10 million units per year. Bualuang research assumes one humanoid has about 40 to 50 PCB boards, with an average area of about 80 square centimeters per board, or 0.09 square feet. Compared with KCE, which currently has an average selling price of about US$14 per square foot and HDI at about US$18 per square foot, the research assumes a humanoid PCB ASP of US$22 per square foot, a premium of about 20% over current Auto HDI, which is still below selected AI and datacom PCB at around US$60 to US$100 or more per square foot. Based on these assumptions, one humanoid would have an addressable PCB value of about US$80 to US$95, or roughly US$90 per robot. Based on the Fremont designed capacity of 1 million robots per year, that equals a PCB opportunity of about US$90 million per year. If KCE can capture 10% of that content, it would generate additional revenue of about US$9 million per year, using only about 1% of KCE's production capacity, or about 2% of current revenue. At a gross margin of 25%, the research house estimates incremental profit of about 5% and sees that the potential of humanoids offers much more room to grow, which would also lead to a re-rating of its PER. Based on a 2027 PER of 40 times, that implies a price of about 70 baht. This afternoon, KCE informed the Stock Exchange of Thailand that, following some social media reports about the possibility of trading goods with a company in the United States, the company wishes to clarify that it is in the process of operations but has not reached any conclusion, and asks the public, investors, and related parties to consider information from the company's official channels and verifiable information. KCE shares in the afternoon were at 66.25 baht, up 7.75 baht, or 13.25%, with heavy trading value of 5.30211 billion baht.
